He'll fail his medical tomorrow after he has an accident on his unicycle whilst riding it on a tightrope over Trafalgar Square tonight.

I know that's unlikely, but so was the chance of him putting in a match winning performance tonight. And that unpredictability was what made him great and a pain in the ass. I'm sorry to see him go but glad he's gone.

As for waiting until summer, who for? It was only likely to be Milan and would they really have come back with more money? Plus god knows what Mario would have done if he hadn't got a move he wanted. Could have made Tevez look sane. Plus we've now got a gap for a forward and likely that Tevez will go in summer, possibly with Dzeko. However, we don't need to wait for them to go to bring someone in. If they want Cavani or Falcao, that approach makes sense, as we're not waiting for other clubs to sort themselves out.

For this window, I think we'll now bring someone in. Could be a striker or another midfielder to allow Nasri/Silva to play off a lone frontman if we had an injury crisis up front.

Might sound mad, but I'd to for Bent on loan till summer if no one else is available. Villa want him out and need him off the wage bill. We can pay him and offer him football ready for them to sell in summer. He's only going to be fourth choice and never a starter, but if we need someone to come on and get on the end of one in the last 10 minutes, there aren't many better. He offers nothing other than goals, but get the ball in the right areas and he'll get them. Even 5 goals between now and May could be the difference between first and second.

I think we should have a poll how long it will be before he blasts us in the italian press?
A) in the press conference when his transfer is made official by Milan
B) within one week
C) within one month
D) before end of the summer.

glad he's gone and glad we got good value for him. if we had sold him during or immediately after the Euro championship we'd have made much more money but thats what happens...value is however much anyone is willing to pay for him and right now, i think we got a good deal.

Ha, gald it's not just me that's crap at that.

Just had a text from a fervent matchgoing rag, offering to go to manchester airport and barricade departures with me to stop him leaving, cos he'll really miss 'the big stupid lump'!

Manchester will be a duller place without him, that's for sure.

I there one before A? He's daft enough to do it before he's failed his medical.

He won't blast us. He'll blast the league, the refs, maybe Mancini, but not the club.

At least I hope he won't!

why on earth would Mario want to "Blast us"? he's had a great time at City, been loved by many, done many kind and generous things whislt here. He has enjoyed his time, he's won medals, why on earth do you think he would be negative about City?

I am truly gutted and had I not lived in Holland I would be there hanging on to his leg all the way through the airport, to finally plant some drugs on him before he passes customs

listen up. our owner made billions out of the stupidity of Barclays Bank idiot executives, do you think he worries about the marginal profit or loss on the sale of Mario? seriously, get real , our owner does not worry about this in the way the Everton owner might. Furthermore , Mario was always getting city free press, good or bad .Just imagine if we had to pay those scheissters, for all the press we've received !

Not saying he should, but you want to take a bet that he will come up with some shite about City before June (assuming his transfer goes through obv)? Tenner to a charity chosen by the winner

Did Mario take a part of the quote function with him from this site as his final farewell prank?
VIVA EL CITIES

"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

Balotelli, I would be true and say that I wished he would go away after his initial performances, also because others were not getting enough chances.

Balo antics on and off the field will be missed by all fans
