This is just fucking awesome news. Go through the video below, it gives a glipmse of what he is capable of. I say we shower the kid with all the love we got and he will be a star.

High hopes, fingers crossed, come on Guidetti. Next is Lopes, we need more people as awesome as Hart coming from our academy. People words cant express how much I am waiting for the Guidetti's debut.

To be honest he had been special out on loan when he came and played for us in pre-season out in Canada/US the year before last. hardly taxing opposition but he looked like he'd barely kicked a ball before.

I know it's not easy, and he's obviously come on a bit. I would say 'give him a chance' yes, but I wouldn't be drooling in anticipation.

Nice one Mancini, I appreciate that JG may be a way off full fitness but lets hope he shows what he can do in the run in.

There's no reason not to give him a chance. Let him prove his value. He's shown his talent at Feyenoord and was turning heads.
Sure, it's the Dutch league, so I wouldn't take it as the be all and end all. However, he can certainly produce, so we'll have give him a chance. Get him training and up to match fitness and then let him play. He has earned a chance.

He obviously isn't going to make the difference for us in any game right now. But I'd rather see him play for us then go out on loan. With the 15 odd games we have left in the premier league left were bound to have at least a couple poundings where were up 2-3. Bring him in those situations give him so opportunities. He's got no pressure then and we can see what he can do. If it works we know for next season we have a viable 4th option up front. Because to be honest we don't need 4 highly paid world class strikers if JG can get it done at half the price and without the ego.

Then again I've waited the whole season for those results and it hasn't quite happened yet!

Probably excuses to not play the kid. We don't play Sinclair so why would this kid get a chance?

Guidetti is a talented player so i don't believe it's anything like an excuse not to play him. We're so anemic at times that i think Mancini would definitely give the kid some chances if he was proving himself on the practice pitch.

Sinclair i believe is just a fucking accidental abortion of a signing and Mancini knows that. Wanted Hazard, Got Sinclair. Not really that confusing why the kid isn't getting a game is it?

I have been wondering who has made the decision to sign Sinclair & Rodwell, since Garry Cook has gone I feel that the quality and timing of our signings has gone t!ts up, 5 players that do not improve our squad on summer deadline day is ridiculous plus Mancini had no pre season with them to gel them into the team and they missed the start of the season.

On Nastasic has impressed so far, the jury is still out on Garcia.

I think a change needs to be made, I never liked hearing Garry Cook speak as I would cringe at every sentance but I believe he did a belting job behind the scenes.

But he isn't proving himself on the practice pitch, he's just proving that he's a potential player who isn't fit yet, hence he doesn't get picked.

He was sat on his arse for 6 months, not training or keeping fit, just resting as per doctor's instruction. It's not the same as a normal injury where they work out in order to keep fit, he was just doing fuck all until the virus cleared up.

He's probably not even as fit as Lee Croft at the moment.

He scored city's third in the reserve game against Bolton. Game ended 3-3. So two in two games. Getting up to speed alright.
