Another one turned by the propaganda machine, stating false facts in their favour.
Chelsea had 64 points after 25 games in 2005.
Which pretty much goes to show how crap the PL is becoming. This Utd team are nowhere near as good as the Chelsea 2005 team, yet they are only 2 points behind after 25 games.
Assuming we beat Liverpool, we would be on 55 points after 25 games, most seasons that would pretty much be top. Somehow a really poor (with the exception of RVP) Utd team has managed to acquire so many points. We might be look looking at what we are doing wrong, but they only got 3 of those from us and they were lucky that day.
I'm not sure if it's the PL becoming crap or United getting the rub of the green. Look at a few of their games, especially against the top 6 or so:
Everton (A) - Lost 1-0 (nobody sent off)
Dippers (A) - Won 2-1 (Shelvey sent off early on, they still got battered but got a penalty near the end to take the points)
Spurs (H) - Lost 3-2 (nobody sent off)
Chelsea (A) - Won 3-2 (only after 2 Chelsea players sent off)
Arsenal (H) - Won 2-1 (Strolling it but once Arsenal seemed to find a gear, Wilshire sent off)
City (A) - Won 3-2 (stinking scrorpy bastards)
I watch many of their games (like many) and for some reason they get decisions go for them or are sometimes just shit lucky. The amount of times you could call a yellow for United and them get away with it is unreal yet when it's the oppo who make a foul, it's an instant yellow.
And this is why I mentioned early on in the season that the cards are already marked. Whether it be by hook or by crook, Taggart will have his 20th title. Van Pussies squad number (and the Glazers) banks on it.
