I agree ... so Nasri and Tevez both kept on the bench I guess ... not very attacking up front.

The only difference is Nasri. We don't play 3 strikers unless we're chasing the game.

One could also hope that Milner is deployed as an offensive player. Then it's basically a modern variant of four four two.

I agree. An in form Milner provides a lot of threat and attacking intelligence.

Four defenders. One defensive midfielder (optional) then five (or six) players to break them down.
Attack and we'll murder them. And anybody else for that matter.

Can Carragher handle 2 games in a week?

And, we're going to have to get into their fullbacks early, we don't want Johnson or Enrique getting confident going forward.

I think it's a good one

Me neither. I think it's more an observation of how Mancini has made a negative choice if you look at it from the perspective of Milner, Barry and Garcia.

A per-cursor to the aftermatch debate, if you will.

We struggle to break teams down. We have juat three genuine attack minded players. Whats hard to understand?

This is the first time in ages. Previously our top scorer was being played alongside Carlos mate.
