I have to say, (Carl just for you) Vinnie and Nasty is a far superior pairing.

Lescott is just not comfortable with the ball at his feet. Great at defending but he looks scared when he has a pass decision to make and execute so always takes the "easy" ball and often invites pressure.

Lescott will always be shit on the ball and he will be off 1000% in the summer. Vinnie is well missed but not as much as we miss some fuckign invention in midfield and upfront.

At the time it was the right choice to let him go...I wouldnt so much blame a 18yr old kid to push for a move. If i remember rightly it was greedy family and agents were bullying city..
