But when was the last time Gerard scored one of those? It must have been a while, no? We gave him enough time to have a Sunday roast before hitting that ball. Sturridge got the ball between three defenders with non of them making an attempt to block the shot.

At least give the scouse credit for scoring two very good goals. why they don't play like that week in week out is a mystery.
