Spot on.

We are second in the league, still in the FA Cup - what a crisis.

Nobody knows who the manager is next season so pontificating about a clear-out in the first week in Feb is for 2 reasons: -

1 - filling a slow news day
2 - shit stirring

Tevez alone would be £10m saved in wages

- Tevez - £200k a week - £10m annually
- Dzeko - £100k p/w - £5m p/a - £15m saved
- Nasri - £100k p/w - £5m p/a - £20m saved
- Lescott - £90k p/w - £4.5m p/a - £34.5m saved
- Kolarov - £90k p/w - £4.5m p/a - £39m saved
- Maicon - £80k p/w - £4m p/a - £43m saved
- Sinclair

TO BE RELEASED (contracts expiring this summer):
- Kolo Toure £80k p/w - £4m p/a
- Santa Cruz £80k p/w - £4m p/a
- Bridge £80k p/w - £4m p/a
- Richard Wright

SOME DOUBTS (based on their contracts beginning to run down):
- Barry
- Milner

being quite conservative with the salaries it's about £60m a year

If we sold the whole squad we'd save a fortune ;-)

It's still a lot if we keep Dzeko Tevez & Nasri though, when you consider that Mario has already gone & we have people like Boyata, Nimeley, that Ginger lad up in Scotland etc etc plus about 15 kids all on wages who won't make it.

That gives us wages for several big players & then a pay rise for the youngsters who come into the 1st team squad.

Then we can announce the next sponsorship deals with Nike etc & a few more of the Sheikh's mates.

Funny how an article declaring half the squad is for sale or being released appears on the day we have an important match...

Based on the whole season so far , Mancini can go.

The title has gone...finished and not just because of the points difference , its because Mancini cannot change a game , cannot get his tactics right and cannot make a fuckign decent substitution.
He has been as wank off the field as Nasri has been on it.He sulked when Mario was sold and his demeaner is defeatist. Why did he not get Tevez on ? why ? Maicon for Silva ?? why ?
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

how about getting rid of Mancini. Getting rid of Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko, Sinclair, Kolarov, Lescott makes no sense!? How about get rid of the guy (Mancini) who has no idea how to use the talent he has on his team. Also about the article: Who ever wrote that, who said Mancini's job was safe? It says Mancini plans summer buying spree. Theres no way Mancini's job is near safe if he dosent deliver the title or FA Cup. So its a stupid article.

Without looking I think it's £4m a year.

My worry at the moment is not off loading the players or the manager but whether the club can be trusted to bring in the right replacements.

Im frustrated. I love Mancini but he needs to fucking fix up or he'll be out of the door. If we're honest I dont think he wanted some of the wank that is Rodwell, Sinclair, Garcia, Maicon. Theres not doubt we've gone backwards. Mancini wanted Alex Sanchez, Eden Hazard, Javi Martinez and that Milan CB that went to france.

BUT his subs piss everyone off and he's not doing himself any favours. the 3 that came on shouldnt even be at city (maybe bar kolorov). Why take Silva off? Why not bring Tevez on? Bobby provokes these questions EVERY game and were dropping points. His gambles are not paying off.

My biggest worry is that we appear to be being 'managed' by a bunch of tight accountants. The type of which would probably sell half the squad based on wage savings. Who the fuck goes backwards and who the fucks doesnt replace Mario when your 9 points behind!? Don't they want to keep the league?

And im sorry but Dzeko is wank. And he's our top scorer, so what does that say? Zaba and Aguero are the ONLY two that actually fight. The whole squad has no pace its depressing.

Sorry forgot about him! We need players that RUN at players. Like Kun does before he gets kicked 10 times.

Funny how Milner is quoted in the papers last week saying that "it`s nearly there" with regards to his 4 year contract extension.

Sinclair and Nasri can go for me...the latter only if we get a decent sum.
Maicon can go for sure, never understood that signing at all.
Dzeko too if we can get some decent money.

I think we should definitely trim the fat and stop buying for buying's sake. but only sell players like Nasri if we can get some good money for them.

Agree with you on both Lescott and Kolarov; and on transforming the latter.

Nasri's non-performances are bordering on the criminal.

As for Sinclair: why did we sign him?
Who thought he'd slot into our team?

I think Maicon could prove to be an effective late sub, on the run in

We are desperate for some out and out pace. I know he is hit and miss at times but I would go for Bale. Pacy as fuck and can finish. Would just need to work on turning up in big games. We need two new forwards another centre back and somoone to take the burden off Silva. We do need to make a statement in the summer that we mean business as none of our work this summer sent shivers down any spines.

Gut feeling is Bale will not leave Spurs if they make the chumps league next year, otherwise I think we go for him as long as FFP isn't an issue but 2 other serious players I would agree to bolster the attack.
