Would just need to work on turning up in big games. We need two new forwards another centre back and somoone to take the burden off Silva. We do need to make a statement in the summer that we mean business as none of our work this summer sent shivers down any spines.

I think if Bale wanted to be at city he would already be here. At spurs he is the star player here he would be a squad player

Rumours surfacing that Barca preparing a big fat bid for Aguero this summer to replace David Villa and given he already is a good buddy and plays well alongside his countryman Messi ... and this coupled with earlier rumours of Real Madrid also interested in him could spark a bidding war between the two Spanish giants ... both trying not only to get him but also to stop the other from getting him ...

If the rumours are to be believed how much do you think he'll go for? We bought him for almost £40 right? (£38m to be exact, off the top of my head) ... Torres cost £50m and that Portuguese cunt was sold for £80m ... so I am thinking he should at least fetch £60m and if we have good negotiators then even around £75m??

Or maybe he plays for us next season?

Play along ... hypothetical ... put a price tag?

PS. If we get £75m for him, I'd sell him. We can get both Cavani and Falcao for that kind of cash ... plus we already have a starting kitty of £20m from Balo's sale, so a £95-100m to spend this summer without the Sheikh writing a check will be good for refreshing the squad ... something we didn't do this last summer and we are now seeing the results of that!

Falcao I'd take, along with Bale. Job's a good 'un. Oh, and £65 million.

I know. That bastard making him sign Maicon when we could have had those 4 for a mere 120 million.

Marwod forcing him to sign Aguero rather than Sanchez was shocking.

We would have walked the league this season with Hazard & Javi Martinez.

Martinez' pace in centre midfield would have scared the shit out of Liverpool. And Hazard has been unstoppable.

Martinez is class anyone holding down a place at Bayern with the squad they have, with the start they have had would walk into our team, The manager was right to want him, as for Hazzard I would still take him for a 1st season he has done some great things and some daft things. We have no width and a real lack of quality when we get wide. Bayern are gonna leather Arsenal over 2 games.

Sorry Nick but i really have to ask u to explain the meaning of sentence, DZeko is wank and our top scorer ,in one of the best attacks in Europe and you're asking, what does this tell us? Well if he is the top scorer and hes wank , then they are all wank and I think many would not agree with that. His job is to score goals and us i see he performs it well enough, what to do to not be a wank ,hmmm score maybe less goals? I just do not understand the question, what does that tell us? I'm sorry I have to ask this , I was expecting a notice how much this sentence makes no sense from somebody, saying top scorer is a wank and hes playing with Aguero and Tevez for that titile, and then ask what that tell us ,and it s not like we are bottom of the table we are second. Why City fans are become so spoild so we finish second try to win FA Cup ,only wrong thing for me is CL where we fail second time , We have no form like last year but we are still in a game and saying top scorer and wank for me is funny, rather say i dont like the way he plays or something .In this competition to be top scorer, I'm sorry but this can not be done by wank player.I think City have team that is in top 10 clubs in Europe.

Marinez would walk IN our team.

He is slow as fuck with no stamina whatsoever. Him & Yaya trying to catch an athletic midfield would have been a fucking nightmare from Hell. To use players like him in the Prem, you need pace & athleticism around him. We have none.

I would take Hazard, but he wouldn't have made the slightest difference this season, with so many aspects of our team misfiring & anyhow, Mancini would not accept his lack of workrate off the ball & would drop him.

We need to make signings, but not more slow fuckers in the midfield. Garcia is a decent player who can do pretty much anything Martinez can do, but neither him nor Martinez are what we needed. We needed some pace legs & dynamism in def mid & some creativity & goals in attacking mid. I'm still hoping we'll get another yard out of Garcia next season but Rodwell, fully fit, is actually closer to what we need than either of them & could end up a good signing. He is still only 21 years old.

Next season we need to sign players to address the weaknessess & give us something different, not sign plodders like Kolarov. And we need to sign strikers who can actually play together in the same team & compliment each other, not all fight for the same role in the team .

Most of all though, we need Bob to get the best out of the players we have. Only Zabba, Milner & Barry are as good or better this season. Every single player in the squad aprt from them & perhaps Dzeko on occasions, are performing at a lower level & some are way below.

That is the most disappointing thing about this season imo & that's the real reason why we are 2nd instead of 1st.

Bayern are not City, they are a different team with different players under a different manager in a different league. Boateng plays for Bayern, therefore he is good enough for City ? Nope.

Matinez has no pace & isn't especially fit. I know that from watching him play scores of games in Spain & in Europe. If he wasn't huge, nobody would be remotely interested in him. It's because he's a big unit who can play a bit that he is coveted by some. If he was average height, he would be nothing. Carrick with less skill.

Maybe one day, he will be a quality cb for the Premier league ( but dead slow) but he would fuck our midfield right up & we'd have to play 2 in there to cover for him.

Whether he's good or not is missing the point - he cost €40m for a defensive midfielder. Considering we've got the best defence in the league, I'm not sure it would have made a huge difference to our predicament.

Hazard would have made a difference. He offers something we're lacking - the ability to take a man on at pace. It would appear though that the club weren't willing to pay his agent the 6m or so he was after. Can't say I blame them and if that means losing the odd player, so be it. Chelsea can't overspend on them all.

If Barca or Real really wanted Martinez, he would be playing there.

They, like City & Chelsea, didn't think he was worth the money.

Thet were right, he isn't worth half of it.

Bayern got him for a number of reasons Ted, one being they met the price Bilbao wanted.
Madrid non starter, Barca have Busquetts, Tiago Acantral, but wanted him, City went as far as we could he chose Bayern over us with the help of his family, FACT.
