At least Dzeko is trying to force things to happen - end result a breakaway and a goal.

sorry big guy ... Mancini doesn't tell the team to go out and play as if they've all taken a few hits of nyquil before going out on the field. Are you saying that we can't even play southhampton without milner and kompany?

I don't think that Mancini comes out with super tactics, and maybe he's got them wrong in this game? I don't know ... but i'd like to think we can set up in almost any formation with the players we got and at the very least AVOID being down 2-0 to southhampton.

But i'm sure Mancini told Hart to drop that shot.

Get a grip, We have by far the best squad in the league and usually we can brush aside most of the teams playing in 2nd gear but as soon as someone gets in our face we dont have a clue. look at how liverpool's style of play has improved as the season has gone on. Having a top quality coach makes a huge difference, sadly we dont

i had a whole post just typed out ... instead i'll say DZEKO GOAL! and then i'll say ... does Mancini get credit for setting the team up to attack through lightning counter attacks? My guess is no ... the answer will be that the players managed it inspite of Mancini.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

If they can't be motivated themselves knowing how important this math is then they can get the fuck out of the club.

This

This for me to.....We have used a similar system to this many times and slaughtered the opposition...Mancini cannot control players desire and mistakes on the pitch.

This this this.

I've turned off the stream now and am listening to BBC Manchester instead. Might as well. There wasn't much to see.

Bollox. We have used this system and failed to impress many times. Every away game is a concern. Sunderland (several times), QPR, Swansea, Arsenal (several times) Everton, Ajax, Dortmund, Lisbon, Liverpool etc etc.

No sign of learning from it.

Would you guys believe it if I told you that the only players from today's contest that I have in my FF starting lineup are:

Zaba
Dzeko
Puncheon
Lambert

2 goals, two assists

Looked ugly as you like but Dzeko actually did well to get that in when the ball was pulled behind him. Credit where it is due ;-)

This.
Dzeko fucking made that goal for himself.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

get a grip? If we really do have the best squad in the league then telling the players to come out with short passing and possession away from home shouldn't be something that breaks the team and has everyoen making stupid errors all over the field.

Are you then implying that Rodgers is a top quality coach? Because if so I would say you are the one that needs to get a grip.
