Mancini got it wrong from the start. Nasri and Yaya never should've started.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Both aguero and Tevez have gone backwards this season Balo never got any better even with his father figure helping him. So no I don't have a short memory and I don't class myself as stupid.

If you are happy to accept performances like this that's up to you but I'm not.

Maybe because Tevez is aging, Agureo is having family problems/struggling to emulate his great 1st season/still getting over his knee injury, and Mario was in an impossible situation (between the media, refs, and unlucky injuries).

I don't accept the performance, but we've had 3 horrific individual mistakes. Managers make an easy scapegoat when things go bad. It's easier to blame tactics than poor performances. I'm just wondering how after Mancini leads us to having a record breaking season last year, one subpar year makes you think he's shit?! Just doesn't add up

Worst effort by city I've ever seen, I've seen city smashed before with a lot more effort from the players.

I know we lost badly but zabba looks an unhappy man. Hope in tevez rushing off like he has that something bads happened to his kid or owt. The team just played like they really could not give a shit.

We were lucky to get away losing by 3-1. Could have been even worse. Can't think of a poorer display under Mancini.

We didn't progress in Europe hoping it would give us less games allowing us to focus on the prem, yet we drop 7 points in 3 games? Fuckoff Mancini

he didn't lead us, Vinnie and Nige led us, now Nige has been practically given away and Vinnie has been out injured - then people act surprised that we we lack cohesion and leadership on the pitch.

Was it individual mistakes that cost us at QPR or in CL, it's not individual mistakes that have turned a championship winning side into the one we see now is it? It's the managers job to get the best out of the players and he isn't doing that is he?

Your spot on, but what excuses can we say about the rest of them?

That they were poorly prepared mentally for today's match - draw whatever conclusions you want from that.

Are you trying to blame those 3 goals on the manager?

Mancini should get some shit just for being there but our basic play is abysmal. Can't even pass a ball.

Are you trying to say they haven't played 65 minutes of collective dross?

No, they have.

I don't think I will bother reading the forum anymore tonight. We didn't even come 2nd tactically but in every other department we were 2nd best.Southampton really wanted that and it showed big time but we have seen in recent weeks just how they play.

I thought Southampton tired in the last 20 minutes but they still had more than we did.The mistakes started before they went on the pitch and the players just kept making them.

My thoughts nearing the end turned to the Sheik. What would he be thinking after that?

Embarrasing performance and result. Oh well, if there where any lingering thoughts that we would clinch the title this year, this was the final nail in the coffin.

Time to rethink and try new concepts me thinks.

FA cup winners 2006 wrote:My argument is that a quality manager over achieves with his team. Moyes is a prime example, Rodgers is looking like doing it now, Klopp with dortmund. Manicini is under achieving with us and just comparing cup wins is not a fair assessment of different managers

See, your whole definition of what makes a good manager is centered around the loaded and subjective work "overachieve". Who sets the initial expectations? And when are they set? Judging by your answers, your expectations are mainly set by the media hype machine.

So Rodgers leading Swansea to a top half finish: incredible, great underdog with little money fighting against the big boys
2 trophies in 2 years: wanker, underachieved, spent millions and should have made it to the chumps league final

Do you see why I think you're full of shit?

You can dress it anyway you like...but

That was the worst performance from a City side for quite a number of years....outworked, outpassed, outtackled, outchased. Totallt unprofessional.

...and that was the end of that. Thank fuck.
