You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Both aguero and Tevez have gone backwards this season Balo never got any better even with his father figure helping him. So no I don't have a short memory and I don't class myself as stupid.

If you are happy to accept performances like this that's up to you but I'm not.

Maybe because Tevez is aging, Agureo is having family problems/struggling to emulate his great 1st season/still getting over his knee injury, and Mario was in an impossible situation (between the media, refs, and unlucky injuries).

I don't accept the performance, but we've had 3 horrific individual mistakes. Managers make an easy scapegoat when things go bad. It's easier to blame tactics than poor performances. I'm just wondering how after Mancini leads us to having a record breaking season last year, one subpar year makes you think he's shit?! Just doesn't add up

I think theres a bigger picture to look at behind the scenes..Something is not right about City the last few games. Scouse, QPR and this shower of shit tonight. Its fucking weird. I just dont know what to make out of our recent form..Were falling apart..Something has happened within the club, im sure of it.

Haha!

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

We were exciting to watch for a few months. We haven't been the same for over twelve months now.
So which bit is wrong about Mancini turning an exciting team into the one before us now?

...because he made the exciting team in the first place. You can't blame him for our failures while giving others credit for our success.

individually many of our key players are at least 25% worse than last year. I'd blame them just as much, if not many times more, as Roberto. But the leader is a convenient scapegoat isn't he...

individual errors all round, can't blame mancini for those, whatever team he puts out should be more than able to do the job.my only concern is nasri,he knows we don't rate him anymore after the derby and is looking scared to dealth, jamie needs to take his place unless injured.Whatever the deal with tevez is i hope it has not rubbed off as they seemed like somethig was up with the camp

having said that - I haven't ruled out the possibility that Bob wants to get himself sacked with a bumper payout courtesy of his five year contract.

Was it individual mistakes that cost us at QPR or in CL, it's not individual mistakes that have turned a championship winning side into the one we see now is it? It's the managers job to get the best out of the players and he isn't doing that is he?

It's not even one sub par season.
The rot set in last festive period at WBA and Sunderland. Since then, we have, in the main, looked suspect away from home. This today isn't a one off but part of a depressing downward pattern.
This season we have looked like a side that isn't sure what it is, what it's trying to achieve. That is entirely down to the manager. Tomorrow, we will probably go thirteen points behind the shite. Not many here expected our title challenge to be over by early February. I don't think we have ever really looked like competing.
We now have just the cup that can save our season. You would like to think we can beat Leeds, but after today you have to worry that if they roll up their sleeves they could make life very uncomfortable for us. Even assuming we win that game, would you travel to any sixth round tie with confidence if we were handed an away tie.

And lets not forget that in Mancini's first few months he threw away a cup semi final lead and made a complete balls up of qualifying for Champions League with his gutless, half arsed plans.

Yes he did and he should get a big portion of the blame for tonight's result. But Mancini didn't tell the players to gift Southampton 3 goals ! Yes they played well and better than us but it was 3 stupid mistake that gave them 3 goals. The own goal by Barry takes the cake. For me it was the strangest OG that I have ever seen and I've been around for a long time and seen a lot of football.

Don't you know, we should win the CL, PL, FA Cup, have the best attack, play like Barca, and no one should ever score against us. Any failure is due to a colossal, gutless, half-arsed fuck up by Mancini.

Today was horrible, but I'd think some of you have never been properly introduced to the game of football. Where nothing is assured, everyone is competing for the same prize, and you can't win everything.

Yes it was 3 mistakes for the goals, but take the goals away and who deserved to win on the rest of the performance. We were lucky to come away only 3-1 down, regardless of the mistakes. We were awful and got absolutely murdered by a team of pretty average players.

The performance was so bad, I think it runs deeper than just 'one of those games'. There was something up with that team today

So why isn't Vinnie leading us now? Can he not lead because he is on the sidelines? If so, how do you ever expect a manager to be able to lead when they are always on the sidelines?
