Why was Duncan Edwards push not a penalty yet the next touch by the Real player was a free-kick?

Real battering the Rags and it looks like United are playing for set pieces or on the break. They're doing well to keep the ball away from the goal and if it finishes anything like this score they'll be in the driving seat taking them back to the Sunday League pitch they play on.

Really interesting game.Madrid looking much the better side but the scum still looking dangerous with a simple attacking approach and running off RVP who does do well holding the ball or just flicking on. Carrick almost non existent as a controlling midfield player,Rafael looking like a division one full back,Jones like a championship bull dozer. And they are 1.1 away!

A nice hope and a possibility but I can't see that happening. Some of the movement is very good and completely dismantling utd but the final pass/shot just not good enough.I just hope they do take some sort of win to the swamp as they can clearly win there.

I'm convinced that the simplicity is the key.

Their players aren't good enough for the arm waving bollocks that ours get, they are given simple intructions & practice doing simple stuff which they can do & then add bits of quality from their best players. If it doesn't work, they are fucked but often it does.

They are the best at corners & headers yet again. We got there for a short while on corners, then started on the tactical bullshit road & forgot about it.

Verane is going to be something else. He is positionally dodgy right now but his ability is fantastic.

He actually got that ball when he got caught out & Evra dived. None of our defenders would have got close from that position if they made the same mistake. He reminds me of Lakey.

Fucking marvellous just then v Wellbeck.
