Jones touched Ronaldo twice before that corner came in & the ref told him off. That geezer last night was wrestling the Celtic bloke to the ground for 90 mins and allowed to do it.

Isn't it about time one of these cunts from Uefa or Fifa decided what the fucking rules of the game are ?

this brazilian fuck Fernandinho is a cheating cunt and should've been sent off.

Hummels draws it even.

They were vastly inferior in quality to Real & were lucky at times but could have won it. The difference though between their whole lineup & attitude compared to ours was immense.

imagine that Utd side with Maicon & Nastasic making their debuts for instance. Fucking no chance.

I counted six fouls including a pen.

Real had 30 attempts on goal. I think they'll win at the swamp alright.

they'll definitely score at the swamp.no question. I don't think that away goal will matter much in the end

They're fantastic.

I was awestruck by some of their football tonight. I can see now why they are 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League at the beginning of February. No wonder City are so far behind, it's fully understandable.

Only Ferguson can save us.

Having seen the replay of Verane's challenge on Evra, i overpraised him before, he was lucky Evra dived or he could have been off.

Still recon he's going to be awesome though. Having said that, Mourinho has done a Mancini by not playing Pepe in place of either him or Ramos imo.

Perhaps there's something wrong with the vocabulary we use when watching football? A team can have many weaknesses but because football is what it is, a fluent sport with much random elements included, it's not big problem unless they become too many.

I don't know if I've expressed this opinion before but it seems that most teams, actually, have large weaknesses. In one aspect or the other. But the terms and expectations we have for top flight top teams are so skewed that when we actually see them play, match per match, the real version of Manchester United or Real Madrid just doesn't hold up.

Just a thought, which I'm more and more inclined to believe the more I see and hear what people have to say about their own team, be they Dortmund or City supporters, or other teams. It can't all be bias towards rivals or negativity against one's one team, I think there's a flaw in the language we use about football. Or something like it at least. I don't know.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Tut, tut, tut. Byyour response you seem to think that I'm somehow having a pop, I don't get it.

The Rags have just gone to Madrid and got a result against one of the best teams in the world, we would've probably done the same if Vinnie hadn't have ducked his responsibilities yet you want to be facitious.

We maybe way behind but you cannot disagree that this was a great result for them?

another great decision by mancini. having maicon make his debut when he can't even defend. i would be pissed if i was pablo that night to make room for him.
