FA Cup Draw - Quarter Finals

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

This is a brilliant brilliant draw ... even if Chelsea and Scum get ahead in their 5th round games, they'll be going head to head in one of the Quarter Finals and so one of them will definitely go out before the next draw ... and if we are lucky again in the next draw, who knows ...

Here's the complete Quarter Finals lineup:

1- Oldham OR Everton v Wigan
2- Manchester City v Barnsley
3- Manchester United OR Reading v Middlesbrough OR Chelsea
4- Millwall v Blackburn Rovers

Looking at our next game I'm wondering how Rafa is going to deal with his upcoming games. Sparta Prague on Thursday, Us on Sunday and then Middlesbrough in the Cup another 3 days later. His priority has surely got to be the PL but you just never know with his rotation policy.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

That's exactly what I was thinking ... isn't there a rule like where the 1st and 3rd tie winners play each other in Semi and 2nd and 4th play each other ... just like they do in ICC tournaments in Cricket; maybe FA should borrow that rule from Cricket!

Easiest cup run ever? We could get to the final without playing a single Premiership side.

Only way to get there as chelsea and everton would beat us and the rags would destroy us at the minute.

Yep we've had Stoke away, so far from straightforward in that respect. Let's not complain at the draw and be grateful for once that we have got a good draw. Now if only we could have a bit of luck in the Champions League draw...

I see a repeat of the 1933 Final, with a better result. I went on a charabanc and John68 went in his taxi.

I insist on a lovely thrashing of the filth, if they may handle through Chelsea.

Nice to see so much confidence spread all over the thread: is not exactly that City is fighting for relegation these days, is it?
One might be led misinformed browsing on here... :-)

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

This draw might give our league form a shot in the arm. Players possibly playing for a place in the team at Wembley should be motivated from here on in....

I like you mate but any chance you could pipe down with the sarcasm over how people feel about our season?

It's just that you're doing it in every post and it's a bit annoying.

We're all disappointed with the way the team has performed this season in comparison to last.

We wouldn't be fans if we weren't. No need to take the piss out of those who discuss our shortcomings this season. Even if most believe the main ingredient to be Mancini.
