Super?

Vieira was a steady hand that saw us through tight contests, his record in bringing the result home was impressive. Maicon is a waste I believe signed by Mancini because he needed a sycophant in the dressing room.

Why do you doubt our owners? This was one of their promises when they took over, they haven't reneged on anything they said they intended to deliver so far, why should this be different?

Do you not have faith in Soriano and Txixi to deliver?

If Lampard signs for United then he'll do well for them, no doubt.

Surprised by quite a few on here saying we should not be interested in him. With regards to youngsters, if they are good enough or show enough potential then they should be given an opportunity. If they aren't we shouldn't just be giving games to those players just because we want to bring youngsters through, when they are not of the required ability.

Ferguson, has always had a thing for ex WHUFC players Lampard would be 15 goals a season as Scholes joins the coaching staff. I would have him for his 1 yr of goals, he would say no to us IMHO for the rags.

He scored 16 goals in all comps last season and was instrumental in Chelsea winning the Champions League in particular, a long way from 'fuck all'!

Fitness wise: better than HMS Bazza
Goalscoring wise: better than any midfielder I have ever seen at City
Technique wise: would ease into our top 3 midfielders

Genuinely can't see why anyone wouldn't want him playing for us. Only reason people have come up with so far is that he's "fat" - not really the greatest of arguments is it now?

If Chelsea decide not to offer him a new contract then I would take him at City on 1-year deal, to be potentially renewed if he's still delivering the goods. His record over the years has been phenomenal and he's still got the ability to play at the top level.

Chelsea would be crazy to let him go.

The other issue is that perhaps he wants to go and play abroad, either to try Spain or Italy, or take a big payday in the States.
