Quite sensible.
I have no problem with that so long as we keep a tight, solid back 4 who look happy & organised & win big games like we did last season. Imo we haven't done much of that so far this season.
I think he will sell Lescott & I'm not sure who he will replace him with.
He will sign another one this summer , if hes still here.
That's fine as well, so long as it works.
But when you look back to how we played v the rags for example last season & in the cup semi, imo we had the best defence & the best cb pairing in the league. Now we look like teams can get at us, & they do.
I can't see any good reason for chucking away what we had. It all reminds me of Arsenal.
Nigel, is missed in that stopped it in it's tracks role, little foul here and there, and holding up the breaks like we saw in the Derby, you have to agree the bedding in of Garcia, Madrid away was self inflicted bollocks as Barry chased a third to see the whole RM Midfield had cheated and not tracked back. NDJ would have kicked Yaya and Barry's head in for that.
Jesus Christ will you stop going on about De Jong in every post you make! Do you realise he started 11 league games last year? Yes 11!!!
We didn't miss him last year never mind this year.
I admit, I Iiked De Jong and would have kept him as a squad player but you go on about him like he's the messiah in all your posts. He was extremely one dimensional and was a regular for us 2 years ago.
Get over it.
