Now you're being cheeky Carl!

Anyway , my answer is Yes, because he is the club captain

I hope he is but he hasn't been training this week from what I have seen.

This is a must win though! If the rags win and we drop points again we're proper fucked!!!

If the gap is still 12 points after this game then we're fucked anyway, with regard to winning the league. With 11 games to go and 33 points on offer then that'd mean we would have to win every game while they dropped a third of their points. Winning this season would far over-shadow what happened last, of epic proportions.

What you should be worrying about is that Chelsea and Spurs are 4 and 5 points behind and a loss could see either of them 1 game away from overtaking us. I wouldn't want to be having to go through the play-offs in the CL, anything could happen.

Saying that, I think we'll win.

If we ARE going to win the league then you have to assume we win at OT. Which effectively makes the gap 9 points.

As for this game Chelsea certainly aren't the force they were. We outclassed them in the Charity Shield and again in the 0-0 really. But they have some flair players and we need to make sure we dont get caught out.

I think I just said that John, we need to win all ours and they need to drop a third of their points.

Chelsea are a very good team on their day but I'd say we are the better team on ours. Mata, Hazard and Oscar are tricky little fuckers that will need to be pushed back to where they aren't at their best. It's Chelsea's defence that let's them down and the chopping and changing that Rafa does doesn't help their cause. I can see the CB pairing being Cahill and Terry with cover in front from Ramirez and Luiz. Aguero and Tevez, assisted by Dave and Yaya, will hopefully run rings around them.

I'm looking forward to this game, if only to see if we've got the gremlins out of our system.

Big game.

City 2 Chelsea 0.
So long as Cahill doesn't play for them like he always did for Everton.

Chelsea will play open football ,

It will suit us.

We will overpower them for periods in the game.

I am anticipating something special from City.

Possibly 5-1

But would settle for 1 nil no problem.
Not really here

I hate wait for game :). How good would be rags to drop points now for our mentality before Chelsea but against QPR honestly i can see them do that .
You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

I predict a 0-0 draw at Loftus Road, since QPR parks the bus and a 2-0 victory for us, if we play like against Leeds. I don't see us losing at the Etihad.

Yep this is how I feel. They are a quality side so we must be on top form to beat them but I don't think we should be scared of them in any way, especially at Eastlands.
If we put in a good performance like we can I reckon we will beat them tomorrow

Will our players be up for this tomorrow now? The league table isn't a pretty sight after their win at QPR now. Can easily make heads drop a little I'm afraid.

I would hope so they hardly want Chelsea to close the gap.

Hi there. Tim from South Africa. Glad to join this forum. We have plenty of City fans here, as is around the world. I believe that despite the current gap, and with 11 games left after the weekend, anything is still possible, judging by last season. Let's keep our heads up and believe we can. The 2nd best thing about our first team is talent, but the best is our fighting spirit. I refuse to believe that United will win all fixtures until end of season, so lets hold our heads high and have faith that City can and will capitalise on that.
I see us lifting the FA, and a possible upset again by 19 May.

The rags don't need to win all their games!! They need to lose 5 games out of 11 for us to be level on points if AND A BIG IF we don't drop points! I know you trying to be positive Tim nice but dim from South Africa but please look at the fucking league table as it stands!!!! :(
