the holding pair of Rodwell-Garcia plus midfield motors of Milner and Yaya were immense. Everyone played fantastic...the strikers just a little less so.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Milner got it in the ground, I think Nasti was superb but Kolo was MotM today.

Great performance and result. If only we'd played like that all season. Nasri had a face like a slapped ass which was funny.

On the basis that he played the whole 90 like a big bottomed fucking pill popping car flogging boss it has to be Kolo

If we'd played like that against Southampton instead of GIVING THE FUCLING TITLE AWAY I would have been a lot less stressed out.

Thought that too. Gr8 by Mancini to give him 2 minutes on the pitch. Funny how it was a fantastic performance according to recent posts but at half time it was mostly misery. Reality it was a good solid performance against a so called top side.We barely gave them a sniff with a fairly tight midfield and two good centre backs.

Really pleased by and for Rodwell and I assume he came off through a mixture of lacking match fitness,he had already been booked plus wanting to get Carlos on. Great all round effort from James Milner and even though not at his best Silva assisted with both goals. Kolo mostly good with just a couple of mistakes but his experience was needed when Ramires had the run on him. Nasti really good again and my only slight negative would be Clichy who got it wrong quite a few times today with his positioning and decision making but we covered him well not least by Lescott right at the end.

a team win that was surely needed.

team worked very hard. i think that was the hardest i recall seeing silva work in a bit. that was much closer to the team i remember last season.

nice to see rodwell contribute as well.

We gave the title away in plenty of games this season but it's great to see us win and dominate a big game like today.

Southampton was the tipping point. That was game-over, which is why I flipped. But absolutely delighted to see us playing like this again.

Important result and response to the shite at Southampton (Leeds didn't count) - no Barry or Kompany and yet we controlled the game, except for the penalty - need to keep on though so we don't have to look over our shoulders - I'd rather worry about that than the title, but if the miracle happens absolutely fantastic I just think we need to secure 2nd first

a very good win today against a good team, a few where good enough for motm, milner, yaya, kolo, rodwell, but i will give it to joe, as if he didnt save pen then we would have been beat, but he saved it and we went on to have a very good win.oh if rodwell stayed on then i would of given it to him

Correct. The title is gone and has been in reality for a while. All we can do and MUST do is play well and with conviction like today to guarantee 2nd place and hopefully win the FA Cup.

He was fantastic today wasn't he? Rodwell to save our season? Wow what a performance.
