Kolo isn't a top pro. As I've said previously, after the Spurs game we lost to a Crouch goal when Kolo was captaining the club he stormed down the tunnel after the game and had to be dragged back on my Gervinho to clap the fans.

Varney should have scored when Kolo lost him.

He earns far too much to justify his squad place.Gone in the summer hopefully.

He could very well do a good job as back-up to Vince but as you say, on far too much money.

I've always liked Kolo though and he comes across as a reet decent guy. He has also got leadership qualities that help us on the pitch.

When I saw the starting eleven I told my friend that this was a big gamble from Mancini. When Toure's actions resulted in the penalty I felt I wanted to slap Mancini. After that though, I thought Toure played very well and redeemed himself for that mistake. Fair enough I suppose.

Kolo's actions, he prevented an almost certain goal?

Kolo was the last man splitting the the runners. He went to cover the right but then noticed Ba coming inside so he changed his run going for the man and anticipated the pass into Ba, stopping him having an easy shot at goal. Hart made the mistake of rushing in but even then I don't think there was any contact from him until Ba stuck his leg out. Even that was minimal and for the ref not to even give him a card says everything I need to know.

Kolo had a cracker, much the same for all the team. 2-0 against a goal threat as good as Chelsea's is a very good result and ultimately, a very good display.

Well we see it differently then I suppose. I look at the replay and see Kolo Toure misjudging the lob, then having to choose he makes the decision to take the inside. I'm not that awed by that though, as that should be the decision in such a situation. Then there seems to be some miscommunication with Joe Hart, and let's face it, it's not the first time that Kolo Toure and Joe Hart fail to communicate with each other now is it?

As I said, he redeemed himself and then some after that mistake. I could even give him a motm award if it weren't for Rodwell and Milner. He still managed to cause a dangerous situation though, which I think could be expected as he hasn't been a regular for quite some time. But again, that doesn't negate the fact that he had a good game. I think you focused too much on one part of what I wrote and not on my conclusion see.

To be fair though, they didn't have much to do before that. But yeah, pretty much.
