what a goal ! phips you have a weird sense of humour

thats why i said before that.

he was placing every pass out of play and losing possession before he scored that cracker

He was shit and I said it to my son a minute before he scored. Should've spoken earlier !

Excellent result, good all round performance. Rodwell was excellent which bodes well for the future. Only let down was my FL captain Kun who didn't anything today. Oh well can't have it all.

I want to know why Ted has not come on the site to tell us how well Nasty played and how right Mancini is to ALWAYS put him in ahead of Lescott.

I think he should comment....I will wait.

Hear hear i doubt he can fault that perfromance.I don't know why exactly he does not rate him that much but from my point of view there are not many better 19 year old centre backs in the game at the moment.Could not ask for much more from a player of that age he has had a brilliant debut season here.

Justification despite SHIT referring.

Good job Lampard missed that as we totally deserved to win. We mostly made them look like a 5th-10th placed team which is exactly what we should be doing.

I was gutted we didnt start with Tevez and Aguero but you could see the line up completely worked. Playing Yaya with that ability to push on and support caused Chelsea to go all over the place and in places they panicked.

Well done Bob, well done Rodwell, Milner, Yaya, Tevez, Garcia and Defenders and Silva and ermmmm no Im not missing someone because he fucking needs a slap.

So Rodwell was often further up the pitch than Milner. Thoughts?
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Fishy wasn't the word for that performance by the bent bastard Marriner. He strayed from the incompetent into the morally questionable today. TWUNT.

That's a nicely perceptive comment.

The media have had a field day recently with stories about Bob's sacking being imminent, as well as spurious claims of dressing room unrest etc.etc.

They've been figuratively gearing up and rubbing their hands together at the thought of Chelsea sneaking second place above us, so it will be really nice to see how they pitch this result and performance today.

I don't, somehow, think they'll yet be choking on their humble pie, but they certainly could be drowning their sorrows in whatever concoction they imbibe......and 12 points behind the Scum doesn't seem quite as daunting as 15, particularly when we still have to go to the Swamp and anything could yet happen.

Because I was at the game you fucking lobster.

As I've just said elsewhere, he was great today as was Kolo, apart from v Ba, where he struggled but tbf partially down to bent, one sided reffing. If he plays every game as well as he did today, he will be comparable in standard with the usual level in such games of Lescott, Vinny & Richards who are all better than him in their careers so far. Kolo however, was better still.

He brought some much needed urgency to the midfield today. Along with a goal threat. Really impressed with him and only hope he can have an injury-free run of games from now till the end of the season.

Good lad - what I liked about him today wasnt just because he played very well in defence but because he did something useful with the ball nearly all the time , no kicking it into touch like Lescott or hoofing it upfield,he actually turned his man and got us back attacking , I never ever felt uneasy all the while he and Kolo had the ball.

More of the same please.

Mancini said he is hopeful that Kompany will be back for Aston Villa game next week. He seemed to suggest that Kompany had had problems with his other calf in the last week rather than the one he originally injured.
