Seriously, if you're up for it in the future and you get the time, I'd be more than happy to team up.

Due to recent events events, I am not sure I want to involve admiration societies, mutual or otherwise Mate....:-)

The analytics data that I have is from last season and I whilst going through it may prove interesting, so much time has now gone by, I think it would serve only to act as a requiem. By the time those stats are sorted and sifted etc, I am not sure how current or relevant they would be.
When the data was published, the City statisticians wanted to create a stats community to feed back into the club. I am well up for that but I think to keep it current, it may be better at this point to wait until newer, more current data is published.

It would be useful to produce an player overview from last season to act as a reference point for comparison purposes.

What do you reckon?

Yeah why not. We could start with some simple things for each or a few players and see how much time that takes, then see if it's worth it or not. I don't have any of the data though, you'd have to send it to me and so on. I think I'd have the time in a couple of weeks or so.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I have sent you 3 emails.

1 & 2, The original emails + attachments from City Analytics, pretty self explanatory, containing all the raw date for you to either save or download.
3...A personal explanation of my original plans and the progress I had made before i stopped.

See what you think Mate and let me know when you have had chance to study them...and good luck...:-)

Hi John

I wouldnt mind a look at your part 3 if possible. (Will pm you)

I also downloaded the data, which is fascinating stuff, but i'm struggling to get my head round how to approach it, so a read of your theory / approach would be interesting.

I'd also be prepared to look into some analysis if there were any good suggestions from the board.
