Even with a win we show why we are so far behind in the league.Slow no movement or very little upfront and at times the gap between midfield and attack was a veritable chasm.

Fucking abysmal 2nd half against surely the worst side we have met.

How did we become this average ? Not winning the title is one thing but this is so fucking mundane. Also, where was the organisation in that 2nd half ? If we can't play football, can we not at least line up solidly without letting a terrible side get at us ?

The one encouraging thing for me is that I would have made Nasti motm tonight until he kicked that geezer in the penalty area. He showed me that he can stand up & be counted as the main cb rather than just watching someone else do it.

We aren't strong enough aerially with him & Kolo though & could have paid for it.

Zaba was awesome, Dzeko was very good, as I was hoping he'd be. Kolo's on the pill.

Thank fuck for that. Hard won 3 points but it could have been different if not for Guzman and the post on 2 occasions. I think we defended really well but going forward we were ordinary except for a few occasions. Silva was absent tonight which is why we didn't create many clear cut chances. I wish Tevez would pass more and be less greedy.

But Its not just Tevez , why Bob can't sort that thing its the same to assist and score in my eyes , that is what he should say that tick heads and that slow biuld up , its so sow that i would be back in defense.

Agree with this - It was a Southamptonesque performance and we deserve to be slagged off for it, I hinestly thought we wouldnt repeat it...I was wrong.

Mancini going to blame the players again? as that tactic is working like his CL tactics...shite.

Made really hard work of that. Especially the last 5 mins when we gave the ball away every time we got it and invited the pressure.
Good old Mike Dean, gave them a load of minor decisions but we got the big ones. Coulda been a foul for our goal and a pen for them.
I see Nasri is still dog shit

Don't understand the Tevez is greedy stuff. His goal won us the game and the chance with silva he did the same thing and would have had a 2nd has it not been cleared off the line.

How many chances does silva squander on goal anyway. He's hardly clinical.

Missed the game, managed to not see the score, so decided to read through this thread to see how it went... we must've been crap as when I was reading the Tevez goal I thought that was us making it 1-1, especially considering all the mentions of 'dire' first 25 mins, I wasn't even sure on the result until I read 3 points at the end.

Experiencing a game that way was a first for me, not easy reading but at least I got a gist of the flow of the match lol
