Great evening for everyone involved. The best part is that they thought they would win it, if just for a few minutes. Hope taken away is better than no hope.

ITV wankers trying to make this all about the ref. Disgraceful and only serves to intimidate future officials from making gutsy calls in big games. You make them and we will persecute you by the media and sound bites

as it should be. right or wrong the ref made a call that changed the game. anytime a red card is given, right or wrong, that is what will be the "headline" of the match.
