How many times have you heard munes say, "You only beat us cos we played shit"?

Try actually watching the opposition and how hard they work. Maybe then you'd be prepared to give them a bit of credit. Opposition teams in this league are full of highly-paid international footballers, managed by coaches with a wealth of footballing knowledge. They are going to play well. No team is going to dominate everyone in this league. That is what makes it what it is.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Try actually watching the opposition ?

Righto I'll try it.

I've managed to give it a miss for the last forty odd years I've been going to City games & have just sat there like a stuffed animal staring into space, but I'll start with Barnsley at weekend & see if I can learn something, now you have put me straight.

So Liverpool home and away, Arsenal at home and Saints away didn't play well against us?

I would add Everton to that list. Your point ?

Yep, agree on Everton, my point is you said that hardly any team has played well against us, there's 4 who have. I'd also add QPR actually for their outstanding defending and Cesar's world class saves. There's plenty of teams that have played well against us because they're raising their game against the champions.

Sunderland. West Ham. Reading gave a decent account. West Brom played very well.

I would call that 'hardly any' & don't agree about QPR, I think they were utter utter shite but tbf to City, on that day the conditions were awful. Not that awful we shouldn't have won though. I also don't think Liverpool, Southampton Arsenal or Everton played brilliantly, just well. The rags also played ok but mainly because they exploited our poor defending which was vastly below the standard of last season.

The rest of the time, we have had it really easy imo, & if the same teams turned in the same performances v the rags, I would criticise them when the rags inevitably beat them. A few players lined up in their own half has been all it has taken from several teams, in order to take points off us. We dropped our level to their level rather than running them over. We did the same v Villa for large part of the game, they, like most teams who have played us, were shite but we needed a blind spot from Mike Dean to stop us from giving the points away. Had w drawn, it would have been a typical example of how we have underperformed in our horrible attempt at retaining the title.

West Brom is a fair shout but they (like Fulham) were unlucky enough to face the real City rather than this pale imitation we have watched for most of the season. Had we played at WBA like we did at Villa, they would have put 6 past us.
