Flying the flag for Blues!

Another full house is anticipated for tonight’s Carling Cup quarter final against Arsenal and to mark the occasion the club is giving away 10,000 City flags to Blues fans.

And we want everyone to sport their colours as we attempt to book a place in the semi-final against Villa, United, Blackburn or Chelsea.

The hope is that City supporters will raise the roof in the same manner that made to last quarter final tie, against Hamburg in the Uefa Cup last season, such a memorable occasion for all concerned.

There will be a record crowd for the competition in the stadium this evening with Arsenal bringing 5,000 fans north for the contest.

There are only a few tickets left and a big percentage of those are singles. It will be a night not to miss.

I think it's nice when the club does something like that. It looks great, just like at the derby a couple of years back when they gave out all those scarves.
