You could see very quickly we weren't really at the races and some of that undoubtedly is down to play 3 at the back as we are just lost when we do.They did work quite a bit with that formation in training but it seems to make no difference.

Than you add blatant poor performances by too many in the team (Kolarov leading the way) and too often we are trying to force killer passes through rather than retain the ball and create real openings. That's where Yaya is a big miss for me as he works the ball around and across midfield and interplays with the others well.Nobody is doing that so far.

Then there's the ref who so far has been awful but at least it's been both ways. As for the goal I wouldn't blame Joe.I would have liked a semblance of an attempt to save it but he didn't really have a chance. It was a freak goal.Give Osman 100 more attempts to score from that position and the chances are he would score none of them.

Barry/Garcia/Milner/Kolarov have been truly dire. Great goal, though.

Everton play entire seasons only ever caring about getting something from us and the scum. They could give half a fuck for wembley aslong as they take points of us and the rags.

Bunch of fucking freaks.

Chocking performance so far. Only bright light in this one is Nasti, Kolo and Zaba. The rest should really hang their heads in shame.
We really are shit this season, compared to expectations that is.
Everton is really up to this fixture, I think we're a more important game than Pool for them nowadays.

I have nothing against it as a formation IF the team can play it. We wasted pre season fucking about with it which left us badly prepared, then we changed to it on several occasions & lost our way in games, often having to change back, then, out of the blue, here it is again.

Mancini often thinks HE has to win these games.

When he plays our strongest team & keeps it simple, he wins a lot of such games. When he fucks about with changes & tactics, he loses almost all of them. Usually he has tended to just do that in Europe & v Arsenal.

When he went to the Emirates & played a bog standard balanced formation, we were all over them.

3 at the back doesnt work , hes tried it again and again and it still doesnt work.

The bad performances come because the players don't believe in what they have been told to do imo. They try to do stuff to make up for it & actually make things worse instead of better. The whole team gets nervous.

The officials have kept City in it though imo. Everton should have two goals plus a pen.

Might stretch to five nil city after I take my lucky shit

Shit performance so far. I don't like to see 3 at the back and that proves why. Spme of the players though, they can't even string 2 passes together.

Not much more to say really, just sort your fucking heads out.
