I wish we had Rodwell today at least he has shown a bit of passion when he has had a chance.

who was terrible as predicted all game. We where embarresing, and i don't give a fuck about the penalty.
Dzeko our top scorer says it all. The guy isnt even a footballer.

He was when he chipped that perfect ball for the Tevez chance. He didn't have good game I know but who did apart maybe from our 2 centre backs?

Come on. It's Everton v the current champions after a poor display v Wigan. I do remember a poor midweek league cup game away at Wigan several years ago followed by a derby win. Pretty sure we all celebrated like we'd won more than just a game.

Their reaction is only irritating because of the massive problem we have.

The celebrations from everton fans was beyond pathetic.

Beating the 2nd place team brings the chairman to tears. Ffs.

We enjoyed such occasions back in the days of shite, but that was literally a cup final reaction today.

What a bunch of fucking losers.

Don't understand te Dzeko stuff on here today.

I thought he & Tevez had a really tough job playing Everton pretty much on their own.

well that was 90 mins wasted, not 1 of our players played at all this game, we never start from the off, it always takes us 20 mins to get going, apart from playing watford, leeds and barnsley. not good enough

What a bunch of fucking losers.

I've never ever celebrated like that after a routine game or seen any other City fans do the same. Now if it was the Cup semi or final, or to win the league then fair play but to win a game that has no real consequence?

As for the chairman nearly in tears, maybe it was the thought that Moyes is already out the door and he'll miss his precious.

Yeah I don't think they were that bad either. Not saying they had great games or anything but okish. The trouble is that with the formation we started with it's essential that the 2 wing backs plus Silva and Barry dominate midfield and create stuff.Sadly today Milner had a poor game,Silva couldn't get into it and Barry was all about the defensive role.

I do think Milner struggles with the wing back role. It's alright saying he can play it but he isn't well suited to it at all and I feel it takes away from his real game.Really strange that we do keep trying 3.5.2.I wonder if it's all Mancini's thinking or whether Platt or Kidd have something to do with it.

Well I guess we see what we want to see. What I saw was a 6'4" supposed center forward who couldn't bring down a single ball and hold up play against 5'9" defenders, who completely misjudged and wasted an inch perfect cross to his head, who scuffed every fucking shot into the ground, who made zero effort to close down the ball, and who flopped like a fish out of water every opportunity.

A couple of major contributers to the outcome of todays loss stand out for me .........

The pitch was pathetic , both teams players could not hardly control a single ball on it it was that bad.

The Ref ........ well .......... i really hope the decision not to award a penalty for Fellaini,s handball gets the columns and tv coverage it truely warrants plus no card for Colemans foul on i think Dzeko when he was through. Only one team going to get the points if the penalty gets tucked away.

Yes we were poor for parts of the game , Edin had a proper mare, Joe Hart looks as if his confidence is shot , Kolarov poor again and we just couldnt get the service or ball to Tevez who they were absolutely shit scared of ! About as frustrating as it gets for me today and that ref can just FUCK OFF !
Not really here

That clip of Platt explaining what they were supposed to be doing and sitting down in frustration said quite a lot. Mancini was looking to him as if to say 'Do these not understand what I've briefed, have you actually passed the message on'. Platt sat down quickly in a bit of a huff.

No it's Bob.

Plunty let it slip early season when he was interviewed by that creep at the ground. He actually said that the coaching staff were surprised that they hadn't worked more on the usual shape pre season & had been concentrating on 3 at the back 'but Bobby felt it was the way to go'. I remember it because it was quite a thing for a coach to say.

As for Milner; Glen Hoddle (of course an exponent of back 3) called it before kick off, that Milner may get pushed back & if he did, City were in trouble. Both GH & Joe Royle knew this was a possibility, Ratboy said he didn't fancy it, & all 3 were correct.

I want Mancini to stop this nonsense now & only do it if he has players who are genuinely exeptional at it. That would not be any of the back 3 or Milner or Kolarov, it would be two flyers & the two centre mids would be faster than Barry & Garcia, or at least one would, in oreder to cover quicker.
