Happy With A Draw Against Chelsea?

Postby Fish111 » Wed Dec 02, 2009 8:32 am

I know it would be yet another draw but with the way we're playing and the excellant form Chelsea are showing i would be more than happy with a draw against them. We've blew our chances of picking up some serious points against teams like Birmingham, Fulham, Hull & Burnley so a point against, undoubtedly, the best team this year would be a bonus imo.

Definitely yes, but if we enter the pitch aiming for a draw we will lose so we need to aim for the win, and see what happens.

No, not at home, we'll have to believe we will win. The matter of form will disappear on saturday evening when they enter the pitch, hopefully

Not really. But we really need to set out like we did in the first half at Liverpool, just to keep them out. Then if our break players score, all well and good.

It depends. If we're losing 2-0 and pulled it back then yes.

If we're winning 2-0 and throw it away then no.

I can see where he's coming from. Just to get a goal against Chews at the moment would be good. 900 minutes isnt it? or some bollocks like that when the last conceeded?

Same here, we CANNOT do the same as our previous matches if we take the lead.

Fair enough, but I'm saying I believe we will win, and if we don't, I actually think I will be disappointed.

Definitely take a point right now, but like Bingo says, it'd change during the game.

I beleive we can beat Chelsea, but I don't think we will!

We have a squad that is good enough to beat them, we know that, as do the players and the staff, but it's about delivering! I just don't think we will deliver!

We have to draw. I want that record of games in a row. Our club deserve to be in the record books. Come on Leslie, make it happen.
