I don't think he will ever make it with City, but he's too young to be a bit part player.

I can't believe you've just said that! I think Kolarov is pure class.

Lescott is a terrible squad player, takes him half a dozen games to get up to speed

Seems to be played in his proper position with a formation aimed at asking him to do what he is exceptional at in a country he calls home. He has none of those three at City.

For his defending, yes, and against Everton he was caught out worse than usual. But he crosses a ball better than most City players in a long while, don't understand why he's not been used as a regular sub to give the team the bit of width they've lacked since Bellamy was moved out.

The only problem there is we are not a crossing the ball type of team.
We play a passing game designed to out-think and out-manoeuvre the opposition (which hasn't worked well this season).
The only reason Kolorov is on the pitch is because Mancini thinks he can take a good free kick and corner.
Get rid of him - he's shit.

Every player is expendable provided the price is right. However, I'd sell (for the right money) Kolarov and it pains me to write it, Dzeko. Everyone else can stay. We need a new striker, an attacking midfielder and a left back. But next season really is the time for some of the kids to be pushing for places.

One of the reasons for our stagnation this season is that the established players haven't had enough competition for them to perform. If Silva plays badly, who's chomping at the bit to take his place?

Nail on head there Dazzer. And if Silva plays badly who have we got in reserve to change the formation? Answer: Nobody.

Ridiculous selling Mario in January window with no replacement. Then Aguero injured = only two strikers.

Agree with most of posters about 2 out of the three Balkan players but would keep Lescott. He's good for morale.

Dzeko, Aguero, Tevez, & probably John Guidetti, would all score shedloads of goals playing for AC Milan or any top Italian club.

That is why we should be very very careful buying players from Italy.

Mancini was quoted as saying that one of the main reasons he signed Kolarov was because of his pace. That's because, In Italy, he regularly outpaced people.

kolarov and Edin were bullied on Saturday, For me if 3 at the back is ever to be an option he should sign Williams from Swansea, he can play and pass a ball under pressure better than any centre half in the league, not a super name but a top player with a nasty edge when needed ask RVP. Zabba, looked around and saw players hiding at Everton, that has to stop.

Kolarov would look fine if he played for Juve tomorrow, as would Edin & just about anybody else at the club.

Hopefully we can now shift our main focus away from there & Arsenal when it comes to signing players.
