Whats the odds on the survivors of the group of death, Real and Dortmund, contesting the final? That q-f draw should see them both in to the last 4 so providing they avoid each other in the next draw its very possible.
Yes we were shite in the CL this year, but would any of the other English sides get out of the group we got dumped in? Nope. Two games with Real & Utd mustered a draw and a loss - similar to us really.

Tbh the rags were miles better than us v Real Madrid & genuinely scared them. On another day they would have won with a late goal in the Bernabau, & were pushing forward loooking for the winner there when the final whistle went. We got absolutely battered, grabbed a couple of goals, then got battered again. The rags played a great game over there & were unlucky in the home game.
They would have lined up with 2 banks of 4 v Dortmund, thus totally stopping them from breaking like they did ALL THE TIME v City, & then hit their slow cbs with counter attacks of their own, & probably battered the fuck out of them.
We were abject & had no sensible tactic v anybody in any game.

However this issue is whether Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea would have finished above one or both of Real and Dortmund in the group stage. My contention is that they wouldnt.
Yes Utd did awfully well etc etc against Real, and achieved a draw and a loss over 2 games. And if your aunty had balls she'd be your uncle, and on another day they might have done this or that .. but they didnt did they? We could well have beaten Real at home, could/should have beaten Ajax at home but for us not getting the most blatant pen youve ever seen - but it didnt happen.
Cant wait for our CL draw next season - Bayern, Barca and Brazil circa 1970 is what Im expecting.

That's what we will get, because we have been shit two season's running. Had we been average, we would probably be in the pot above.

yep 20 points. Well it has been proven in courts around Germany that corruption has existed there for several years , with Refs being found guilty. It's due in England, no way is the PL clean.
Nevermind anything else, Probert's treatment of Edin last Saturday was definitely bent.
