Yaya's Opta stats show he has an 89 per cent accuracy rate from 1845 passes in the Premier League this season and has created 33 chances.
He also has 5 goals and 3 assists in the prem and a few more in the cups.
Not bad for someone who has done fuckall all year.

Going off topic, can you satisfy my curiosity over your username? I assume that Peter Doherty is the City player from the 30's and not the serial substance misuser out of The Libertines. What does the AGAIG bit mean?

Peter Doherty is the City player from the 1930s, referred to by both Mercer and Shankley as the best player they'd ever seen play. Hence: As Good As It Gets.

Yaya Toure speaks out on Manchester City future
(Sorry taken from the Express)
MANCHESTER CITY midfielder Yaya Toure has discussed his future at the club for the first time since his agent claimed he would leave if he did not receive a new contract.

Ivory Coast star Toure has been linked with a summer departure to Real Madrid, PSG or Chelsea after his advisor revealed he was set to leave Manchester City after negotiations dragged on for six months.

While the Citizens were said to be unmoved by the situation, speculation has since heightened that the 29-year-old could call time on his City spell and even buy out his contract at the end of the season.

But after Ivory Coast defeated Gambia 3-0 in a World Cup Qualifier, Toure discussed his future amid rumours he was in advanced talks to join PSG.

"No, I did not head to PSG," Toure told Sport-Ivoire. "You know that with the approach of the transfer window, there are many things that are said in the newspapers.

"We are professional and so far I have not given any agreement with any club. I am for the moment a City player and I will fight so that we finished the season in good conditions.

The former Barcelona ace - younger brother of City defender Kolo - did hint at his struggle with the club's negotiators over a new deal, which is thought to be fundamental to him staying at Eastlands

"In a club there are players and administrators," Toure continued, philosophically. "We are like soldiers and we carry out what employers say."

"The most important thing for me is to continue to have fun and to entertain the public."

Toure in tied to Manchester City until 2015, but is reportedly high on the agenda of both Real Madrid and PSG.

Well that makes it as clear as mud LOL

look he'd be stupid to not want to get his deal sorted by another 3 years or so beyond his current deal....otherwise he's got NO ability to sign another contract at his current rate and will end up plying his wares for 50K a week in Turkey or someplace similar. Russia. Etc.

I'd push for the same if i were TYY....once this shit is over he's fucking teaching kids in Africa how to play the beautiful game and that doesn't net you a couple hunny grand a week, does it?

cheers
