Alone in America

Postby Mingchester Mingy » Sat Mar 23, 2013 4:11 am

So here it is.....my cry. As a Man City fan in America. Sad about the season.....dont know who to blame...Mancini....Lack of Goals....The Sun.....dont know. I root for my MLS team the Philadelphia Union...but it just doesnt have the same passion as rooting for the Blues. I started rooting for City a while ago.....mainly out of my United Hatred. Now that I have a descent income, I can afford Fox Soccer and can watch City every weekend. I know the league is gone.....my only hope is the FA Cup. This is a plea...to the soccer gods.....let us win that sivlerware. My daughter just gave up dance much to my dance and wants to play footy..."daddy you are Sergio Aguero and I am Carlos Tevez".....I just want to see us win the FA this year and let the chips fall. To you true blues in Manchester...know you have a free home to stay if you have to visit the States. To those who doubt.........BLUE MOOOOOOON, YOU SAW ME STANDING ALOOOOOOOONE !

Steady on, old chum, with such an expansively generous offer you might, inadvertently, get saddled with Doomie for your pains.

With regard to this, albeit slightly, disappointing season, we've had far worse in the past and we'll have great ones in the future. Even if we don't 'salvage' anything by winning the FA Cup this year, there'll always be City and that will never change so just hang on, keep the faith and watch us go next year.

Am I a "true blue in manc" as the offer states? No. Be a little more detail oriented please. I am not eligible for this fantastic opportunity to stay at a strangers house in the city of brotherly love.

Cheers

P.S. this season is more than slightly disappointing to this point. Glad your expectations are low. Mine aren't.

I was a lot happier with the 2011/12 season.

So together our point can be "things could be worse or better".

Which has fuck all to do with discussing the relative disappointment of this season.

Discuss it and get the fuck out of mancini's ass.

Missus asked me if we had a game this weekend.

For the 1st time in my life I instinctively replied "thankfully not"

This sums up the season for me. we've had much worse, but this one is just dull.

Never mentioned Mancini, was simply putting the season in perspective. A perfectly valid point, simply made. Now fuck off.

That's a nice, reasoned response and riposte, Doomie; cultured, erudite and incisive, without any of the unnecessary flamboyance that you sometimes dispel.

I'm totally impressed so, well done to you.

I think you meant "display" and not "dispel." Further, flamboyance is in the eye of the beholder is it not?

You have a talent for bullshit. I'm not using irony as a weapon either.

Cheers

The world is against you. You sorry piece of shit. Maybe if you sort yourself out it will prove far easier than trying to sort everyone else out.

You'll never walk alone...oh wait.. wtf...nevermind...

I get it Brent, it is a tough badge to wear this season. The local pub I go to watch games is now devoid of Blues (one moved back to Manc, one moved one was banned -- occasionally some college kids who just discovered City will come in and it helps a bit), even the Rag bastards there fell a bit sorry for me (but only because they care what I think about them).

It would be nice to beat them once again in the semis and win the cup again (although I would get just as much pleasure with Chelsea knocking them out). Their "triple" will be reduced to winning "their" trophy back, but in reality I just know we are letting them borrow it one last time. Keep the faith, and keep Doomie out of your house.
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I am all out of bubblegum.

You should have learned by now, you pompous cunt, that I don't "fuck off".

You don't want to see my posts, foe me. Or do what you normally do, a dramatic "I'm leaving" post... and give everyone some fucking peace.

Excellent.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

it's not
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.
