It must be locked. Either that or a caped crusader could swish I and take out all the evil guys in the thread.

But where could we find such a hero?

You have me all wrong. I'm not offended by you nor do I find you evil, but that's partly the point. I think you can be a prize prick and your offer of 'when I'm over there' is as lame as your other snide digs.

Always the innocent too. You didn't say the words 'I'm a hard man', but you called me a fuckwit. Not sure you'd do that to a stranger in a dark room, know what I mean? Don't a previous poster PM you once and offer to meet up to resolve a disagreement? Pretty sure they did. Says something right? Yeah, they had a problem...

I'm guilty now of adding yet more irrelevant shit to the thread. But all I did was call you out over your comments to Socrates across multiple threads, which you describe as an argument. Didn't come across as an argument to me, so I said so. If you really have a problem with that, or anyhting else I've said, feel free to PM me to save the masses from this drivel.

"Save the masses from this drivel." There's the crusader now.

You know a little bit of history alright. You must have lurked for years or something. I have met with lots of members of this board and the one you're referring to was one of them. Got on very well with him thanks.

No fights, no fall outs. Just good friends all round with everyone I met. So you don't know me and you probably never will, but I'll say it again and maybe this time it will register. I don't start fights, but I don't take shit from anyone and I always reply in kind. You are free to witness it next time I'm over.

You took this on yourself, for what reason I'm not sure. Maybe you felt poor Socrates was being bullied? You even referred to me as carl's puppy dog or some shit. Like I follow Carl around the board?? I like carl, but this is probably the first thread ever where we've both exchanged words with the same poster.

Anyway, I don't know who you are and you think you know loads about me, so the offer is always there. But have a think about this... if I was exchanging words with another bloke in a pub would you swan in and say the things you did? I doubt it. If you did I'd call you a fuckwit and tell you to fuck off.

That's life. That's me.

And I appreciate your offer for pm but maybe you should have pm'd me BEFORE trying to get a name off my back.

Your double standards are blatant as hell. Feel free to pm me.

So I can save everyone from the evil.

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

I expect you probably do get on with the guy, that's usually what happens in life, very few times will a first impression be the right one. But you're referring to the end result, I'm referring to the start, when an impression was formed based on what you type.

Your analogy is way off the mark. You're not in a pub having a private conversation, you're on a PUBLIC INTERNET FORUM. As usual you twist things to suit an agenda that doesn't exist.

A name off your back? It's hysterical that you think a persona on here is that important to people, says a lot about how much you cherish it and how highly you regard your contribution. Go on. Do what you always do and refer to the history and the old board, that's never sad and echoing... I don't claim to know anything about you. I just have eyes, a memory and can read. Actually, I'm sure I've read you say this to someone else in the past too.

I didn't feel sorry for anyone, just wondered why you kept on digging at him when it seemed to be over and very one sided. And stop with the evil thing, you're deluded and elevating yourself again.

Because he is such a tiresome fucker that's why and he is also not shy of more than a few sly digs. I'm not sure where your little outburst has come from but I would say that it's pretty off-beam...

From what I have seen OD hasn't even posted that much over the last 12 months...so how you seem to have this picture built up of him I have no idea but, having met him, I can tell you that you are pretty wide of the mark and, in addition, a fairly poor judge of character by virtue of who you seem to want to "protect".

Only in the judgement of the nomenklatura here and that is an pretty odious bunch who I would hate to be liked by. In the normal world away from the childish laddishness here I am pretty popular and can happily live with the difference. Maybe SidSmith is more in touch with the real world?

Ha. Don't get involved. No need to circle the wagons just yet ;-)

I'm not after protecting anyone, I'm fairly sure he can handle himself. My beef was with what I interpreted as persistent attacks across multiple threads. Based on the fact that OD hasn't posted much and this is what he has posted in the recent past, what other opinion could I, or anyone else 'new' form?

Anyway, this is the shit that happens when we don't have a fucking game for 2 weeks, especially when the last one was so gash.

I don't like the tone in this thread and on the forum in general of late.

Calling Socrates a pompous arse is OK in my humble opinion. Jon is certainly aware that he can come across as such at times and he's no stranger to banter. Occasionally telling someone simply to fuck off or calling them a cunt is also alright.

However, going out of your way to insult other posters and stalking them isn't. Neither is calling someone fat or making allusions to prostitution and pedophilia because of family-ties to Thailand. To me that is way too personal and way out of bounds.

And this is not just about Socs. Be as fucking rude as you want, but use some common sense! Telling someone that you hope they will fall in front of a bus is taking it too far, challenging someone to fisticuffs off line is ridiculous. is that so fucking hard to see?

I agree completely.

BTW I never challenged anyone to fisticuffs and I hope I don't have to explain that part again ffs!

Good man erik. Eloquently put.

Who wanted someone to fall in front of a bus, must've missed that?

Anyway, if you want to fight me you should know that my dad's an police officer.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
