I could name quite a few but don't want to be classed as anti-english coz the few i could name are rags with the exception of Kyle fuckin Walker how can he be keeping others out of Englands team.

At least with Walker or Johnson at fullback Milner is likely to get a game since he has to do their job for them when we don't have the ball.

I'll give you Rooney and possibly Young on a good day but yet to be convinced on the merits of Smalling, Cleverley, Carrick or Wellbeck in the England squad.

Sturridge, Osman and Walker are also only 'B' team material at best.

Agreed. They're not great but the problem is there aren't that many better.
For example how many promising young central midfielders are coming through? Just seems like Cleverly may be the best of a bad bunch.

Welbeck's a bit of a headless chicken but if he gains a bit of composure he may be decent (not fantastic).

Shelvey can do everything Cleverley can, apart from being slightly less creative, plus he doesn't go missing when the opposition has the ball, he has a better shot, and his overall workrate is far higher. I will never understand why Cleverley plays time after time for the senior team when there is someone who is overall better than him kicking his heals in the u21's.

That's not the point though, is he better than Cleverley? And I think he is in just about every area.

Is he? Or is that he isn't a Rag? Neither are particularly fantastic.

You've basically repeated my point from a different perspective.

maybe he's modelling himself on Brian McDermott. If he starts wearing black glasses I could be onto something.

Pants is having a rough evening. The Dutch are 3-0 up after 65 minutes. He hasn't been to blame for any of the goals, though.
