Will baconface field a weaker team today against Sunderland? Given they play Chelsea in the QF replay in 48 hours??

I think he's got a strong enough squad to not have to play a weakened team.

Out of 23 attempts Sunderland have only taken 7 points playing against United, the only win coming 16 years ago. Put that in the hat with the fact that Sunderland have only taken 3 points from the last 21 then it could be suggested that the Rags play their under 15s and win.

A few interesting games today though. Chelsea and Spurs away will be on my radar and the Everton v Stoke game should be a physical battle.

Bramble own goal puts the Rags ahead. BlackCats look very poor going forward (once they get past the halfway line) and even worse in defence. They're letting the Rags run riot and not even trying to force the game.

Amazing how a game can meander along and although the scum are massively superior to Sunderland they havent created much and then comes that slice of good fortune that wins games.Thinking of how many attempts we have had there in the past 2 years and not scored and then the rapist just selfishly shoots and gets the deflection for a goal.

How bad do Sunderland look. They can't make a 5 or 10 yard pass to a teammate and they can't get close when defending. 4 nil is looking on the cards unless something strange happens.

But Friend is on good form for the rags.Giving fouls when nobody is actually touched. The early one fro Young when he jumped up as he didn't want to be touched was laughable. No surprise he hasnt scored this season as he is crap but that's not quite how the commentator saw it.

Young is embarrassing, a wimp and a cheat and Friend is much the same.

I've had 2 different streams on and both have got their tongues so far up Uniteds arse that they are now tickling their tonsels!

And thanks Doug, I didn't want to mention the ref. He really is giving them everything, even if there is no reason to. It's as if he's looking for a foul that isn't there with the whistle all set to blow before there's any sort of contact.

The one where Young was in a tight spot so did a little dive and covered the ball was hilarious.I think everyone knew it wasn't a foul but Young just stayed there and forced him to blow for something.Just pathetic from both parties.

When Sunderland play us it's as if they've got 12 men on the pitch. They worked their balls off and even though we had twice as many shots and twice as many on target, we still failed to put the ball away. I seem to remember that we also had about 70% of the play as well.

Like Doug says, that little bit of luck always seems to desert us at the SoL.

There were a couple down the other end as well. It got to the point where just near half-time Young decided to fall over after losing the ball, fully expecting the ref to give a foul. Friend didn't give it and Young looked up in amazement.

As you say, pathetic is the word but also an understatement to what we're seeing here. Saying that, it's been going on all season proved by the random sendings off in games such as Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Liverpool should've seen both players sent off but the Rags got the decision. Chelsea should not have been down to 9 men yet the Rags got the decision. And Arsenal, Cleverley did exactly the same as Wilshire but was allowed to stay on the pitch while the other walked. A couple of seconds later he was then subbed as even a touch on another player and he would have to be off.

Nothing changes.

That was pathetic from O'Neill. His team finally get into the game and push United back and he decides to change his players and fall flat on their faces.

I'll honestly be happy to see them go down. Not saying they will as I'm sure their owner will have the support of the rest of the American clan that now run our league. A vote for FFP was a vote for security.
