The way United played today has no bearing at all on what they will be like in a week's time against us.

Will be interesting to see how we setup at Old Trafford, whether we play an extra man in midfield allowing Yaya to be advanced? Also will we do that against Chelsea in the Semi-Final after Mancini's tactic worked very well in the game against them at Eastlands?

Going back to the derby, wonder which forwards will play up top out of the 3 of them?

Returning to someone's point about how we played at Anfield before our last FA Cup Semi-Final, Liverpool were excellent and we were very poor even allowing for us resting De Jong and Silva at the time and Tevez being injured.

It is worth bearing in mind that Chelsea play Rubin Kazan on Thursday in Europa League, home to Sunderland on Sunday and then travel to Russia for the 2nd Leg a week on Thursday, just 3 days before the Semi-Final. Already would appear Ashley Cole will be very doubtful for the Semi-Final after he appeared to pull his hamstring.

They have got a tough run of games MG, Sat, today, Thu, Sun, Thu and then us on Sunday at Wembley. We'll be their 6th game in 16 days and they look a little leggy already. That loss against Southampton on Saturday has insured that they put their best team out against Sunderland before their long trip to Russia. They could be out on their feet by time they meet us.

We've got a great chance and a definate advantage if we can get our first team out. Regardless of my early reservations on winning silverware this season, the FA Cup is very much on the cards.

They certainly do have a tasty run of fixtures in the run up to the semi final.City are in a great position now to go on and pick up another pot this year.Would be a lovely way to finish what's been a difficult season.

It's funny, the way they played today can be placed directly at the door of bacontwat's tactical genius, but it won't get a mention.

Samba just had one of the worst 45 minutes that I've ever seen from a CB.

Been surprisingly entertaining game so far! Sure, individual errors have helped but nonetheless

This game is pretty dire but the thought of QPR coming back from 3-0 down as me glued to the TV.

I think that's waht I was saying mate ;-)

Not sure that was a straight red though. For Ned, Shaun et al (and last seasons final game), I'd love QPR to stay up but when it comes to Twitcher I have to draw the line.

Thumbs down for me.

I know what you mean. Thought Ned was ok when he came on. Some of Berbaflop's touches were excellent. Can't stand Rednapp

Bollox, the Rags didn't quite win today, they were just unlucky to lose.

Chelsea's brutal schedule leading into the semi final might help us: 30/3 Swansea (lost), 1/4 United (today), 4/4 Rubin Kazan, 7/4 Sunderland (have to field a full strength squad, thanks to that loss at Swansea), 11/4 Rubin Kazan (in Russia), 14/4 City (FA Cup Semi).

After the games this Easter there is only one team in the prem who hasn't been given penalty against this season.

Who is willing to make a guess who has had the easy ride?

Save of the season from Cech though, probably the best save I have seen since James against Lampard for us.
