Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

I havent posted on here in a while....but who cares? This guy plays his heart out on the pitch. And yet people are crying for Mario who half assed walked around most of the time on the pitch. Im a Tevez fan, sure, and yes he isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer....but when he is gone..,..we will miss him. I started rooting for the blues here in america prior to Tevez coming due to my hatred of United. When we got the oil money, and Tevez came over.....he was like a super hero, an United killer of sorts. I hear all the negative opinions of him on here, and then read the pro Mario stuff....and it baffles me! Manchester is a workers town...and this guy is a worker! Long live Tevez.........shitty expired driving privledges and all !

Manchester City's Carlos Tevez to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work after admitting driving charges
3 Apr 2013 10:36

The City striker appears at Macclesfield Magistrates Court and pleads guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has admitted in court to driving while disqualified and without insurance.

The 29-year-old entered his guilty plea in his native Spanish with the aid of an interpreter as he stood in the dock at Macclesfield Magistrates' Court.

Magistrates ordered him to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work, fined him £1,000 and banned him from driving for a further six months - he is already serving a six-month ban handed to him in January.

JPs heard that the Argentinian, who gave his full name as Carlos Alberto Tevez, has not yet got a UK driving licence, partly because he has struggled to pass the theory test, which is conducted in English.

Tevez pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance after being stopped as he left a golf club in a Porsche Cayenne on the afternoon of March 7 this year following an anonymous tip-off to police.

He received a six-month driving ban at Manchester Magistrates' Court in January after pleading guilty to two counts of failing to furnish information relating to incidents in which his Hummer vehicle was clocked speeding.

Kate Marchuk, prosecuting, told the court a police officer was called to the Mottram Hall Hotel and Golf Club in Cheshire at around 4pm on March 7.

"There had been a call from an anonymous caller, that the defendant had driven a white Range Rover to the golf club whilst disqualified.

"The officer confirmed this on the Police National Computer."

But Miss Marchuk said Tevez had been disqualified from driving on January 16, until May 25.

In fact Tevez, who lives in nearby Alderley Edge, did not get into the Range Rover, but instead at around 5pm left the club, got into a white Porsche Cayenne and drove off.

He was stopped nearby and arrested for driving while disqualified and having no insurance.

He told the officer: "I only live down the road. Two minutes."

Tevez was taken to the police station and later bailed but at a second interview made no reply to police questions.

After a short adjournment, Elizabeth Depares, chair of the bench, temporarily deferred passing sentence until Tevez had spoken to a probation officer.

He was led from the dock to speak to the officer and will be brought back in due course to be sentenced.

Ms Depares told the court: "We do feel he has served a significant proportion of his disqualification.

"Therefore on that basis, we have been looking at a starting point of a community order.

"So therefore we would like Mr Tevez to speak to probation."

So basically all I get from this episode is that some rag fucker called him in (anonymous my ass) and also that the rag bastards don't know the difference between a Range Rover and a Porsche Cayenne ... oh, well at least they got the colour right.

Deary me.. 250 hrs unpaid work. I had to do 100 hrs once and its a ballache! Mine was actually not too bad.. local charity shop, think they realised I'm a genuine bloke who'd just made a mistake.. still its a right pain in the ass and will hit Tevez more than a hefty fine would.

It might be an idea if the Club can get him doing some "City in the Community" work for his probation (maybe they can liase with the probation service about it). At least something good can come of it that way.

Edit: "Blue since 92" beat me to it.

The Community Shield should knock a big chunck off it if he includes his hours training/travelling into it.
