Dunno if there's any truth to it or not, but there is no way on earth Vinnie's first match back after injury should have been an international - I would have been livid if I'd been Mancini.

And he was. Who'd have thought that Mancini's little statements would have such an affect on players. Nasri's little jaunt proved he can do it, he just needs to do it consistently.

It seems a lot of City fans have a problem with the City manager having a go at a City player for putting his country before City. Odd.

The sooner we get rid of this cunt of a manager, the better for the anarchy at the Club.

Onwards and Upwards.

Bellamy and Ireland (in his good season) were extremely hard working. Bellamy is one of the hardest working players I've seen. Remember when we beat Arsenal 4-2 and for our fourth, Bellamy sprinted back about 60 yards, won the ball and carried the ball into their area before setting up SWP.

I don't think Robinho putting everything on a plate for Ireland meant that he worked hard. I like to remember the derby where Scholes scored the winner in the 90 because Ireland couldn't be arsed to track him.

Bellers always gave 100% though.

I thought you were abstaining from posts like this?

In all honesty, I dont blame Mancini for this one. just think Nasri is a fairweather player, very much like Ireland and Adebayor in fact, brilliant when all the stars align, but utterly, utterly dreadful otherwise

It was 50-50, they brought the best out of each other. You're discrediting him to say Robinho put everything on a plate. He scored a lot of very good and important goals and made a lot too. Ireland worked exceptionally hard- perhaps he even worked himself too hard off the pitch and ran himself into the ground. He really did give everything that season.

That was the end of Ireland for me. Not only is he 100 years younger than Scholes, but he'd not been on long either and had no fucking excuse.
