Which game tonight

Which game tonight

Postby Lev Bronstein » Thu Apr 04, 2013 7:09 pm

UEFA Cup - hoping both spuds and Chelsea get through - fixture pile up and all that. Plus Newcastle v Benfica.

So which one to watch?

Watching the Spurs v Basel game and can't see Bale having a decent game with all those tongues stuck up his arse.

Basel 2 up, Chelsea 2 up (don't want the second leg to be a foregone conclusion)

They've gone quiet on Bale now that Spurs are 2 nil down. Andy Townsend just blamed him for something as well. Blasphemy, I tell thee.

Kazan! We need them to remain in this tie so that Chelsea have to send a good team out against them next week. And how good are Basel?

Ha ha ha, Spurs pull one back and then Parker has a sitter but hits his own player on the floor. Super Scottyyyyy Parker.

Any particular players standing out for Basel? They have produced a few decent prospects recently

Bale has been awful!! Mis-placed passes, touch of an elephant and generally not looking bothered. Lewis Holtby has looked fairly decent though

I'm looking more at the Basel team, they are killing Spurs on the break.

Stoker http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentin_Stocker has been excellent, best player on the pitch and running circles around spuds. Should have scored a few more goals, but looks extremely promising

That didn't look nice for Bale. I've been out for 6 weeks with an ankle injury like that. Hopefully it'll only be a couple of weeks and he's back for our game ;-}
