What a load of bollocks that is the title of this thread is an example of the petty bollocks you get your knickers in a twist about.Pointing something out you fucktard is not switching.

This whole media thing with the rags has been going on since 1958 Mate, when the Munich disaster gave the rags the means to commercialise the national sympathy vote and the media had their human angle to milk it dry and use it as a tool to cement their circulation and audience figures.
It was at that time we all learned how great the Busby babes were and how they would have conquered the World.

It used to really get to me until I stopped reading and noting the shite. Ignoring it all is the reason I have retained my youth, good looks, charm and charisma. I understand you're stuck with what you got Ronan but take my advice pal. stay away from it, view all the idiots that believe it as (what they are) idiots...and maybe...just maybe...your Hernia will still think you;re attractive when your as old as me...:-)

In 1968, when we won the League, we lost the 1st derby of the season at Maine Road, after a good run of results. The next day, the MuEN commenting on the result stated that "Normality had returned to the World". Nowt new Pal.

Fantastic memory, John.

As a matter of interest, can you remember what they said after the mid-week return game, in that season, when we well and truly stuffed the Scum in their own, evil smelling back yard ??

Just thought I'd check on NewsNow for any decent stories and it seems the Mirror, Mail and Star have gone to town on us today. Everything from 'Mancini will be sacked if we don't win' to 'Soriano accused of Fraudulent Administration'.

It just never stops.

They would all love the club to return to the chaos of the late 90s so the cosy rag love in can continue ad infinitum. I dont consider myself paranoid about it...It just seems obvious to me...maybe some arent bothered by it at all but there is fair and just criticism and downright slander which should not be tolerated by the club at all. The diplomatic approach that the club has triedhas been abused far too often.

It's be nice if we banned some of the papers. We're going to be a big story for a good while and should use this to our advantage. Not nicey, then no access.

Absolutely agree with you Beefy . This weekend and particularly this morning has seen the rag scum propaganda media go into full overdrive and absolutely hammer MCFC from every fucking possible angle , it really is sickening and totally out of order . My 75 year old well read dad and lifelong blue has spoke to me this morning , it went like this ....... " have you seen this fucking shit from the sunday times to the predictable mirror , it is a fucking disgrace and a slur to all that MCFC has achieved and stands for !"

I am going to start a new thread , i am fucking appalled !!!!
Not really here

The papers are just going all hysterical because Roberto Mancini has been given a vote of confidence in Abu Dubai even before the Derby and the FA Cup Semi Final. It was no coincidence he was given a ringing endorsement before these 2 games. If We get beat tomorrow and we lose the Semi,Roberto is still not going anywhere, our owners respect Roberto Mancini and what he has achieved and the cunts in the Media don't like it,our top 4 place is more important to our owners than the FA Cup,and the Dead rubber Derby match,i would be happy to send out our second string in this game and save our players for the Cup Semi.

Pretty sure we are going to be busy this summer in the transfer market.I hope to god Roberto actually gets the signings he wants this time, rather than what was forced on him pre- season.

Do you mind me asking how old you are?

I'm asking because you sound like a rag who has seen nothing but the world go the way they want in their lifetime, so make bold sweeping statements written up as though they are facts.

You know none of the above to be true, not a single statement of it, so why do you post as though you do. Its one thing having opinions, but not when you dress them up as facts. Sounds like the classic rag fan arrogance you have there 'we gonna do this, we gonna do that'

Not calling you a rag btw, you are just coming across as having the attitude of one

I don't usually bother with conspiracy stuff, but the Sky Sports front page has 5 stories related to the derby, all five about United. It's their season, sure, but it's hardly balanced journalism.

Daniel Taylor (in the Gruniard) wrote yesterday that our failure to properly recruit & put pressure on the championship winning team was one of our failures, as was Mancini going for 3 at the back etc - but he doesn't see Mancini going & said there's no appetite at the club for change, plus there isn't an obvious replacement out there - an eloquent City fab rang 606 last night & said he didn't think Mancini would go - yet the media & Alan fucking Green are convinced he'll be sacked, as though our owners are some trigger happy revolving door lovers, which I don't think you can accuse them of considering they never appointed Hughes so will let them off wanting to bring in their own man - I hope & pray we stuff them tonight, not because I think we can win the league, just to piss on the media fire - although I do think it's out of control

Just a lot!!

Saw an article yesterday that illustrated how much we had spent compared to the scum. Obviously only went back far enough to highlight their agenda to confirm that we'd sort more over that particular period.

Oh well just to lighten the mood, the Sky sports headline on my igoogle page this morning is "Derby suicide driving Fergie". It won't be what I hope it is so I won't click on the link but the thought made me smile.
