Finding it hard to get excited

Postby Lee_R » Mon Apr 08, 2013 5:13 pm

About tonights game..

Feels a tad insignificant to most previous derbys.

Come on.. give me all the reason we should batter the bastards!!

pride, not a lot else riding on it - unless you are mancini if the papers are to be believed, the lads are playing for his job tonight

How does it feel insignificant??? Cant say it's less an important occasion than any other Derby. Obviously you must be referring to the points difference but it can still be done or at least we are fighting for second place!

Don't be daft. How is this any different to when we were languishing in mid-table (at best) All thise years? We wanted to beat them then, what's different now? In fact this is more significant as it'll stem all the bullshit, for a short time anyway.

Everyone knows they want to do us after last year, so imagine how good it will be to stop them. They are at home and under no real pressure, so they have no excuses at all...... unless they lose and the press tell us all how insignificant a match it was after all.

They might owe us, but fucking hell, we still owe them after all their years if bullshit!!!! That alone must motivate you?

Just think how sweet it will be if/when we smash them. Their "15 point gap" will look meaningless if we beat them 1-6 again at the swamp

A derby is a derby regardless of if theres a 1 point gap or 50 point gap.

If we beat them tonight the race is still on! If we give them another drubbing they could still fold in the final games i'm sure of it! They will lose to Arse and Chavs, stoke away after beig torn apart by us is not a nice prospect and West Ham away to follow.......it can still happen! never give up hope!...ask kun.....

It's the derby, fear, excitement and Aguero...what more could we have asked for?

Woohoo. Feels just as good this morning. Like someone said, not a peep out of them since the match. Always the same. I'm sure they'll reemerge if they grab the league and give it large.

One thing I still can't believe is the bias on sky, bloody dreadful it was in all regards.

Anyway, fuck'em :-)
