BELLAMY AND SWP!

BELLAMY AND SWP!

Postby Nick » Wed Dec 02, 2009 10:08 pm

FUCKING AMAZIN! ALL THE DICKHEADS SLAGGING SWP OFF DO NOT KNOW FOOTBALL. Have you seen some of the passes he gets from Richards?! with 4 players around him and he still runs through them!

I think thats what we see when:

1) were 2-0 and have a bit of confidence
2) players like bellamy, barry and SWP are actually fit.

10/10 for MH. Didnt need to bring robby on. Weiss got a goal, but apart from that I'd say proved why SWP must start ahead of him.

side note; i thought Ade looked like the Ade at Arsenal to me. Still not back chasing things down and it was 'his beloved' Arsenal. He was barely moving a few cms to get balls that tevez, bellers and ireland were busting a lung to get to.

COME ON BLUES BRING ON THE ARROGANT SCUM! FERGIS WORDS: HE WOULD PLAY THE KIDS!

swamp leg just after my birthday so PLEASE CITY give me a decent 21st present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 x

I was really impressed with the amount of defensive headers Ade gets through in a game, commentators tend to only look at one stat for strikers and they don't credit him with all the work he does. (shame that doesn't apply to gettting back onside sometimes)

I missed a bit of the first half, but I just didnt see him harrying players like he did before his ban. I thought he would give 150% tonight due to his obsession with Arsenal but like the commentators stated he was too busy trying to be mr nice guy. It just pissed me off when the commentator went to SWP and said: How key was Ade in tonights win1??? ERM how key was SWP, bellers and tevez you mean?!

?????? why because hes expected to take 5 players on in a crowded corner every time. I feel sorry for the little guy with the amount of blind passes he gets.

I don't agree there. Weiss didn't put a foot wrong, apart from a misplaced knock-through. There's something special there from what I've seen. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but I think he's going to really show his full potential in the World Cup, playing in concentrated matches against top-class opposition.

you started off this thread by calling other city fans dickheads for slagging of SWP. why are they dickheads, they were right to slag him off. tonight he was excellent and i hope he keeps it up.

by your logic, everyone who slagged off hughes are also dickheads because the game plan tonight was superb but as we all know, 1 game does not change all past performances.

I agree that one game does not change too much, but I am surprised that blues are willing to 'disgard' SWP as 'shite' and drop him on the scrap heap for a few average games. He was our best player at the height of our form at the start of the season. Tonight many fans would not have played him tonight and that may have been costly.

The fact that SWP is a true blue and that he is a city legend made it all the more puzzling. Do people forget when our tactic was ''PASS TO SWP, SWP SKINS TEAM, SWP SCORES''.

That goal reminded me off his 4th vs. SCUM.

Don't give me that shit.
Swp has played well below par for quiet a few games this season.
One game does not suddenly make him our best player once again.
Wait till next match?
See how he is then, and the game after.
He was shit hot tonight do not get me wrong but one game does not make a full season now does it?

Every time SWP plays he gives his all. He always threatens defences but doesn't always get the final ball right. His goals and assists this year have been good but he knows he doesn't deliver the quality final ball often enough.

Tonight he was always a threat and gave Traore real problems and of course it was a great goal at a fantastic time.

I think it was you Doug that said we MUST play SWP tonight because of Arsenals inexperienced left back? Spot on !

I must admit I have been saying SWP deserves a rest over the last few weeks. I have far from been slagging him off and last game except for the goal he was still average however today he was exceptional. SWP is my fave city player though (I am aware my avatar is Robinho) and has been since we resigned him. I loved his work ethic and what he does for the team. However I have to say 2 good games in 1 season isn't a reason for everybody to suddenly admit they was wrong about a player. As for Bellamy since after we signed him I never said a bad thing about him personally so I will stay off that subject.

Also we won today can you try be positive?? This is kinda negative this thread having a go at other posters no?
