if they can't prove Wio and Anton were abused, I'd say they won't prove Vinnie was
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Greater Manchester Police are investigating allegations that Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany was racially abused during an interview at Old Trafford.

The alleged incident occurred as Kompany was talking to Sky Sports alongside James Milner after his side's 2-1 victory over Manchester United.

"Greater Manchester Police has not received a complaint about racist abuse directed towards any players following last night's fixture, however we have now been made aware of this footage by the Manchester Evening News," a police statement said.

"The Force will work with both clubs and review any footage to investigate the incident."

Following the interview, which was broadcast live, Sky apologised for any offensive language that may have been heard.

It is understood that Manchester United have not yet been contacted about the incident and that neither City or Kompany have made a complaint over the obscenity.

It's understood that any offensive language came from outside the tunnel area where the interview was conducted. Indeed, as the entire area was sealed off from public view by large metal gates, it seems unlikely that anyone could actually know who was in the tunnel anyway.

Following defeats such as last night, it is not uncommon for disgruntled supporters to yell abuse as they make their way past that part of the stadium, before barriers are erected to allow supporters to wait for players to emerge and for players' cars to be brought for them to leave.

During the match, Kompany scored an own goal to bring the game level after Milner had opened the scoring. Substitute Sergio Aguero ensured all three points went to the blue half of Manchester with a late strike.

Makes way more sense for it to have been 'daft cnut' if whoever said it was only able to hear the interview rather than see it - I got the impression it was aimed at the interviewer.
