Just a thought and I do not know how to do a poll etc - but that does not matter.
Just want to profile the fans on the site - and there are no prizes for age etc
Question'(s):
who was around in the"old days"? - e,g, '76 - of course for some of us the '60s??
Re '76 - I was at Wembley - having 'thumbed' a lift there and back - who else?
'69 - Vienna - felt like Manchester - before most of you were born probably - just want to gauge age profile
'81 - who else here went to both games?
I am genuinely just keen to assess the depth of 'real' commitment - which I accept does not equate to attendance fo those abroad .

I cant believe my fucking nets finally working! Lucky I didn't need a stream tonight since I went to the ground :). Was late thanks to a crash though on a street and roadworks so didn't get one of those flags :(.
Back on topic great game and night :)

Started supporting City in 1975. Didn't go in 76 or 81 because I was too young (8yo and 13 yo at the time). Went to my first game in 1977. Went home and (work permitting) away between 86 and 92 with one of my mates. Stopped going when he moved away. I did carry on going on my own for a while but it's just not the same. These days i live in Pendlebury but it's still a pain getting to and from Eastlands so apart from going to the odd game, I choose to watch on the internet as i'd rather spend the time with my 2 year old daughter wasting a day travelling to and from games and obviously having the obligatory few beers.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

What a shame it's wednesday. I feel like drinking. Then again, no alcohol can beat this natural high!
28 years! 28 effing years! This makes up for my internet crapping out this evening leaving me to have to rely on SSN for updates.

Didn't make Vienna in 69 but I did make the FA Cup final against leicester, I was 6 at the time
and it was my third game ( don't remember the first two but my uncle assures me the final was my third game).
Don't honestly remember much of that either, apart from the noise. I'm part of that lucky generation
that remembers when we were a great team. I'm also lucky enough to be part of the generation
that will see us up there once again. Happy days.
