Lemons - one 'rusty' moment when he was lobbed and Vinnie cleared it off the line, otherwise decisive when needed and he more than played his part in our win.

Barry for me. Lemons made some really nice saves, but I really didn't like how he kept standing on the line instead of coming out and collecting crosses. The guys like 7 feet tall / it should be like stealing candy from children.

I'm going for Gaz Baz as well. Thought he was everywhere and kept running, trying to create, right to the end.

Very good team effort though and big shouts for all the players.

Nasri looked really well again and I think we missed him when he went off.

Panti did v well with most things but occasionally slow coming of his line. Yaya immense of course, Clichy ran himself into the ground as did Milner.Zaba didn't do as much attacking wise as he has been but I thought his defensive play was superb and he showed why he is our best right back.Vinnie and Nasti good but I can't then work out why the long punt straight down the middle was the one thing which really worried us?

Barry excellent reading the game and playing tidy football,Nasri did a good job filling in for Silva and both Kun and Tevez were good and threatening so all in all a good team performance.

That is his big problem, always had been. Weird enough, he has real problems when it comes to crosses and high balls and always had since he was at Timisoara.

But the past two years since he came here, he really did some improvents in this.

Watch him dive for a ball. It's like he is trying to take off like superman.
The dive from Ba's first half attempt was brilliant.

Panty was great as was Yaya. Thought Nastasic had another great game quietly assured. But.. Kompany off the line and then being solid against Torres really saved our asses.

Barry for me. He just seemed to be absolutely everywhere - picking up the loose balls, driving attacks forward, organising the team.

Have to give a shout out to Pantilimon though who made some great saves. Although considering we dominated the game for at least two-thirds of it, I don't think our MOTM should be our goalkeeper!
