Wayhey, thought for certain Gill and his rag loving powermen within the FA would do all they could to get Sergio banned for the final just to spite us.

By some miracle though he amazingly gets off. Won't complain!

Exactly, if 90 plus mins, were reviewed , last mondays Derby would look like a Ryan Giggs "Grumpy Old Men " Extra Special

Players of the ilk of Sergio are going to elbows thrown at them, and studs racked down ankles etc because of the quality they have and if the opposition can do something to throw him off his game they will.

It's part and parcel of the game. He will know today that he let himself down and he could have really thrown the semi away for us. Luck was on our side yesterday on another day he would have gone and I couldn't have argued with that decision.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Spot on imo.

Sergio didn't let anyone down. He stuck up for himself and I'm proud of him.

How about just telling the sideshow character to fuck off back to Springfield? Isn't that enough? Did he have to risk our only viable title challenge this season?

If Mario had done something similar he would've been hanged on here for being a stupid, petulant child. Double standards, eh.

Not really double standards because its only me saying that what he did was right. Everyone else is condemning him.

Mate, growing up watching Roy Keane smash Haaland and non of the cunts sticking up for him or themselves I'm actually glad to see them showing a bit of bottle (or stupidity).

Complete surprise he was let off. I honestly thought he would be receiving some kind of suspension for it.
On the flip side, you know those bastards from across the neighbourhood and those fairies from Eel eating counties will use it against us in the future. 'How can you say we get special treatment when you get away things like that!' Frig off I say. I hope Aguero scores a shit load of goals now and becomes top scorer.

There's loads of posters trying to find excuses tho (Bob elbowing him in the chest first etc.). For me "showing bottle" means pushing back (which he did prior to the stamp), giving shit, scoring goals, playing hard but fair... not trying to injure players who are already on the ground.

I don't get it! Mario got retrospective action in the exact same circumstances, what's the difference here?

Aguero is innocent,its done with.

All the mard arses in the media with an anti -City agenda already fucking crying about it.

They were just hoping to fuck up our run in.

Not heard fuck all about Torres trying to take Aguero Achilles tendon out,or seen any reruns off Luiz trying to backhand Aguero.

I don't give a fuck about the morality of it all, surprised some off our own so called supporters are.you see the cunts at the scum go unpunished week in week out for much worse than Aguero did.

The ref didn't give a foul for Mario, if I remember rightly, so could claim 'he didn't see it'. Also, they've recently change the rules, as above somewhere. Basically, if the ref saw any of the incident, regardless of how much he missed, the FA can't step in. As he gave a foul for the shove, they couldn't do anything.

Seems a ridiculous rule, but within it

Happy with that. Until they decide to go against it though. They've set precedence before.

The ref saw Adebayor on van persie a few years back, that got a retrospective ban cos the ref claimed he didnt see it even though he gave a foul

It's fairly honest of the ref in reality to say he saw it, he could easily claim to have missed it which would be less of a problem for his career than seeing it and doing nothing

But that was before the rule change. By giving the foul he saw 'some' of the incident and the rule now means he couldn't be touched
