Could throw a dart tonight, there were so many good performances. Richards, Lescott, Ireland, SWP, Bellamy, Tevez could all put their hands up for it.

Lescott for me..maybe he is a centre half after all. The guy was solid and won everything, was really happy for him last night.

I voted Tevez, a lot of players had a great game yesterday but I think scoring the first goal has a big importance. It allowed us more space as Arsenal had to chase the equaliser at that point, and thus his goal put us in the best conditions for the rest of the game.

Has Micah done enough over the last couple of games to have a firm hold on the RB slot for now?
I'd say so
Voted for Joleon though, he was great

I agree with that and also for his overall performance I voted for Tevez.

Lescott by a whisker over Tevez for me. He was immense, so many interceptions and important tackles, even his distribution was up to scratch. They all looked up for it though, I was screaming at Barry in the first half because he was so off the pace, but he came out and did well in the 2nd. SWP and Bellamy looked very dangerous against very average defenders. Adebayor was back to his old buzzing self, but will he maintain this against teams that aren't Arsenal? Me thinks not unfortunately.

I have gone for Lescott too. I am really pleased he is starting to settle into the team and show us what a good defender he really is.
Are we having a separate Players' Ratings thread?

Lescott for me, an outstanding game. Tevez, SWP and Richards also excellent. Barry back to something like as well

Thought Tevez was the catalyst for the win last night, he was immense. If he plays like that week in/out we will win tough games. On the whole a great performance from the team and management. Thought Ade should have been brought off after 60mins poor performance for his standards.
Hoping our new rollercoaster gives us the thrill of our lives.

Went for SWP. It was so nice to see him once again going past his defender.. And the goal of course. What a screamer.
Also thought about Lescott for a while, it was his best game for us imo. Well done lad.

I agree with all those candidates. I always like to say who was man of the match the day after with time for reflection. Last night I'd have gone for Richards but, after having a good think, I'll plump for BELLAMY.

SWP without question, tormented their left back all night. Gotta say that Micah had a really good game too and Lescott is growing each game. Impressive performance all round

off topic but cant post new threads yet !!
i got really annoyed recently when my better half who is a fundraising co-ordinator for a childrens hospice in the south of england told me Man U***d had given them a box for a match to auction off in their annual fund raising ball. I know it makes sense for them to do that as its essex and its the homeland for most of their UK based support. However it pissed me off to think they were topping what City could do and want to do something about it.
does anyone have any club contacts (CHRIS ????) who i could speak to about rectifying this disasterous situation - I cant sit through a charity event with Man U***d getting applauded and all the talk on the evening !!!!!
we are the club of the people after all
help guys please !!!!!!!

basically anything for the charity, supply use of a box to be auctioned off, or supply anything that could be auctioned off to raise money for the hospice - sent email to the club - awaiting response now
