Can I ask you, if someone is being paid top dollar to do a job in your firm, how many times do you cover their arse? I back Mancini's stance as it's the same as my own, and it's refreshing. A couple of my lads have fucked up recently and they've had similar treatment. Since then, they've took on the responsibility and push themselves 100%. Similar to most of the players in our squad over the last few weeks, they've given everything but the last 20 today was just too much. Either way, you've got to get every last drop sometimes and that's what he tried.
There was nothing different that I would've done today with the personnel available. What about you?
I understand your point, but he is in the position to change errors immediately with the use of substitutions.
If someone fucks up at work, I have pointed then in the right direction, either by bollocking them or by an arm around their shoulder. This is fine as things can be put right in most lines of work.
In football, it can't. After 90 mins if you have played poorly or made mistakes and have been punished for them, then the effect of the loss is immediate.
Those mistakes by our defenders were made today and they have to deal with them. My point though is and was that Mancini should have seen the danger Spurs were showing with their substitutions and should have made his own before their first goal therefore hopefully reducing the risk of errors.
Like you said earlier, if only we could predict what happened, then maybe he would have made the changes.
I like the approach but like I say, who do you change? You can't change Vince as it would undermine him as a captain . You can't change Nasti as in most parts he's been excellent. So who are your changes with the personnel available? Garcia was not an option in this game, regardless of how I think he'll come good. Sinclair, well, I'll listen. The only option was to see if our team, a good team, could do something.

Sorry, but the one at the top is the one paid to make the decisions and take the blame if it goes wrong. Any manager who constantly blames poor team performance on a single part of the team without accepting responsibility shouldn't be a manager.
As for today, was it just me or could anyone else see their first goal coming? Yes it was individual errors which led to the goal, bit was it really a surprise or could you see Spurs scoring?
If the latter, can you really blame the defence who were is such an exposed position? Wasn't the answer for the person who can do something about it to do it?
As for the changes, I'd have cosidered Aguero for Dzeko, as the ball wasn't sticking when it went upfront. Alternatively, and something he's done regularly over the last couple of years, Garcia for Dzeko to add numbers to midfield and ultimately release Yaya. Once we'd got a grip again, he could then have gone for Aguero for Nasri.
Or he could have brought on Lescott or Kolo to go 3 centre halves, allowing Clichy and Zabaleta to bolster midfield.
Instead he did nothing. And whilst Sinclair for Dzeko may have been a plan at 1-0, surely it should have been adapted at 3-1 down?
So easy isn't it mate, blame the boss because we cannot analyse the the game itself. Mancini gave a perfectly good analysis of what went on but you cannot take that? What is it, you are part of the new culture of blaming one when the reality is more than the simplistic voice you wring?
Well done, Dzeko for Aguero. But tell me, why didn't he start, why wasn't he there in the first place. If he was right, don't you think he should've been there, don't you think that Mancini has used him at every opportunity?
Even worse, you're talking 3 at the back that every amn and his dog are complaining about.
In reality, nobody can win. Whatever happens, wherever we have been (recently), it's all drowned and out because we lost against a CL contender away from home after a tough 2 weeks without half the spine of our team.
And that's why I should never get involved!
