This game now becomes vitally important. Been looking at the table and if we slip up anymore then the arse, or Chelsea are quite capable of catching us! We need to win to cement 2nd, come on city!

You nicked both his title theme and his gimmick of doing it ridiculously early.

I bet he's raging.

You haven't caused offence to us. But it's highly likely AG7 is plotting revenge on you right now. Although if you offer to let him have the thread for the Swansea game, and let him start it before West Ham, he may let you off.

Lol hope he does not get his knickers in a twist.

He never did one for the Spuds game and low and behold City went and lost. It's obvious that it was AG7 lack of enthusiasim for the game that let the team down.

On a more serious note that twunt Howard Webb takes charge of this one.

Word up Citizens - surprised to see a thread so early, but here we are.

And where is that? Weirdly, at least for me, its back where we were when I first registered for this board: mid-table. That's where you were too. Its strange to think that you're now a fixture at the top of the table, but have only in the last 12 months exceeded the points total we have accrued since the Prem began. I simply cannot imagine you failing to qualify for Europe in the foreseeable.

And I simply can't imagine that we're not destined for a whooping this coming weekend. You having your tails pulled last weekend practically guarantees that. Don't get me wrong - it was no fluke we drew at Anfield, snatched a draw from the teeth of victory against your, erm, best friends, or left St Mary's in a sight better state than you - but we're too one-dimensional (and score too few away) to cause any upset on your patch. Especially with Sam 'Respect the Point' Allardyce at the helm.

Here's a team you can expect

Jussi - who, almost incredibly, has turned (back) into a half-decent keeper recently

Demel
Reid & Collins - neck and neck for Hammer of the Year - Collins again an inspired pick from another team's reserves
Joey O'Brien

O'Neill (or Noble) - Diame
Jarvis - Nolan - Vaz Te

Carroll - perhaps our biggest Marmite signing of all time. I struggle to personally approve of the over the top physicality of the lad's game, but, confidence is really the buzzword for him. When he's both fired up and confident, he's actually got a fair amount of skill in his boots.

Sadly, it looks as if both Diame and Carroll are having a single season in E13, before packing their bags and going their respective ways.

Oh, by the way, are you seriously looking at taking Ravel 'Bad Man' Morrison off our hands? Craziest rumour ever.

As for you lot. Yawn-i-o. Second best all season. Come and have a go, if you think you can handle Carroll and Ginge.

I fear its going to be 3 at the back for the rest of the season.

However.. time to turn our spineless turds from the last game into next years title contenders.

Two teams with nothing to play for. One side will have an eye on a bigger game the following week.

Total non event.
