Should we have done more to get him or was it a lost cause?

who fucking cares. The potentially-raping, elbowing cunt is wearing a rag shirt and just won the league with them.

Time to move the fucl on.

cheers

One thing is for sure, in order to win trophies, you have to move away from Arsenal!

He's still ancient and like Ba, one injury away from being fucked! It's not RVP that we missed out on, it was the failure to being a player in that challenged every forward at the club to perform week in week out

Spot on. Van pussy only has a couple of seasons left in him anyway. To sign him would have been a poor investment considering his wages and transfer fee and no resale value

As a club we look like we are beginning to operate to longer term plans now which in my humble opinion is the way to go for sure

Yes Van Pussy might have done a job for us but for how many seasons? Plus he actually supports the rag twats so would probably have hated him either way

He turns 30 this summer.I can only see him being a short term solution for them. They were desperate during the summer and took a gamble paying that money and so far that gamble has paid off.I hate to say it but without him they wouldn't have won the league he has been the difference for them in so many games.

Yes, that coupled with the poor return from our strikers.

True he's not got many years left in him and hopefully someone will snap him in pre-season.

Fuck RVP, he's got a face fit for that shithole club. However lessons must be learned and bobbys top target needs to be signed nice and early. None of this last minute shit from last year.

Bayern are signing players now for a manager in waiting, one being Gotze, to Bayern. No reason we would not be looking to do the same our Barca Boys will be familiar with tying up players for next season, it will be interesting to see if they and Bobby are on the same page.

Indeed. Every window we seem to be saying that we should be getting players in with time to bed them in to the team, yet every window it seems to be last minute signings everytime. Will be interesting to see how quickly we sign up our targets in summer. Time to have a full pre season is a must.

Everyone at MCFC should be desperate to win back OUR title next season, I think our transfer dealings will give us an insight as to how serious this is being taken.

If we'd have won the league which I'm gonna stick my neck out and say we would have done it surely would have been a good investment.

I agree. Not every signing can be for the future or you end up like arsenal. Sometimes just sometimes you have to sign players for the here and now. We have lost shitloads on players over the years, i dont mind paying 20m for a player that only has 3 top years left in him as opposed 20m on a dud like say RSC/Ade who we are barely able to give away at the end.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have always semed to be a club that has an issue with who we are gonna sign from yrs gone bye, If we do not have them signed or in the bag I would be amazed and questions would have to be asked, we are all looking at the same elite players, we are either in for them or not simple. Cavanni, Falcao, whoever it is, no secret so crack on and announce it for me, Seal the rags thunder and scare the sit out of rednose who would throw the towel in on a high. Make a statement of our intentions signing.

As much as i dislike him and them intensley, that volley was truly world class and he is a top draw player.

We'll be back, i have no doubt about it.
